Great quality for the price. The back sits pretty straight compared to models that do not fold. But the folding feature makes moving them much easier. One person can do it. Easy to assemble. They smell pretty sweet and funky though. I had to keep them outside before moving them to the cottage. I didn’t dare keep them in the car for more than a few hours. Whew. Yuck. You can still smell them when sitting in them but it is much milder outside. Tolerable. I got a matching set of foot stools from another store and the color matched perfectly. ... show more

I'm normally a fan of a different manufacturer of HDPE outdoor furniture. For me to get the pieces I want would've easily cost over $1000. Serwall makes a nice alternative. These are easily put together with all hardware included. I ordered mine in blue, which turned out to be a nice gamble. They've been in hot direct sun and rain this Summer and there's been no peeling, cracking, color fade, or bleed-off. They are also sturdy and weighty, so unless you're going through a hurricane, the wind isn't going to blast these chairs off your patio. As others have said, there is no lumbar support to these chair backs. This is easily solved with a lumbar cushion. They also sit low to the ground. If you are hosting someone who is elderly or has mobility issues, keep that in mind. They may not be able to get back out of these chairs without help. I'm not a big fan of the stem glass/cellphone holder. It needs work. The cellphone cut is at a weird angle for someone seated in the chair. The stem holder needs a slight concave carve-out to its surface to help a wine glass nest more securely. Past that, these aren't a bad option if you're looking for HDPE adirondack chairs. The chairs came well-packaged, the parts are in good shape, and assembly is easy because all the pieces are well-labeled; it includes the necessary screws, nuts, and tools. The dark blue color is gorgeous. The instructions are easy to understand, with good illustrations. The chair looks robust, it's heavy and feels firm, comfortable for sitting for a long time, even for big and robust people. It has two cup holders, one with a slot so the cup is more secure and the other flat. The best trick to unfold: Go behind, lift first on the back part where the backrest is until get into the slot, and then pull again until it's fully open. After opening it, always remember to put the pin before sitting down. If the pin doesn't pass, pull the back part where the back is a little bit forward to make it fall better. To fold it, you just pull that part of the backrest towards you, and then push to fold it shut. The chair isn't too reclined, so you can comfortably have a conversation while sitting. Also, your husband, who is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 235 pounds, finds it very comfortable. ... show more
