This pitcher looks so modern and cool…. But OMG the way it works and keeps drinks cool is even better. Living in 100 degree NC and visiting Florida, i have tried just about every pitcher/cooler there is - nothing *really* works to keep drinks cold for hours and hours. THIS PITCHER DOES! We were on the beach for 8 hours in the heat - and this pitcher stayed cool. How? Who knows. Another huge plus: it doesn’t sweat, so it never gets messy or has anything stuck to it (sand, etc). The lid is so secure- it tipped over in my car, and nothing leaked out. This will be a pitcher we hand down to the kids. Haha - but it also would be a great housewarming/wedding etc gift. Bought this for my husband and a cold beverage has never been better. We keep this filled with water and it has replaced the need to grab a bottle of water when home or ready to pour in another insulated cup to go. It is tall, sits on a door shelf. The round bottom has not caused any missteps on a counter. Adding ice cubes is a plus because they last longer and add extra coldness when desired. Have not used for hot drinks because that was not the purpose of the purchase. Worth the money, though can be heavy. Can’t believe we waited so long to buy a gold pot of goodness to encourage drinking more water each day! ... show more

The pitcher works as described. Keeps water warms for hours. The colour is beautiful as well. But if you put 2L water in it then you should be careful when placing the pitcher on a hard surface. It weighs more than 2kg! It would be great if they had rubber padded on the surface of the pitcher (like the one Kambukka has). For me, the handle of the pitcher is too small. ... show more

I've been looking for an insulated pitcher to keep drinks cold for a while. Oddly enough my go tos - Hydro Flask and Yeti - do not make pitchers. Go figure~ This works well, but of course, having Hydro Flask and Yeti growlers, mugs and bottles, it does not keep liquids as cold for as long. Still, we made frozen daiquiris and it kept it slushy enough for the better part of the day. I tested it with cold water, without ice, and felt that it didn't stay cold for too long. I suggest you add ice or keep it in the fridge where the inside will already be cold. This will retain the cold temperature for longer, rather than putting cold liquid into the pitcher where it has been sitting out in room temperature. It will keep the temperature fairly well, but the inside needs to be the same temperature in order to maintain it. I assume it will do the same for hot liquids. I'm looking forward to trying it out with hot tea in the winter. The reason why I only gave it 3 stars is because I think it is very expensive. I also bought the serving bowl version of this and while I will give the same review for maintaining temperature, Hydro Flask does make a serving bowl for much cheaper. I took advantage of the Amazon deal sale in June, which cut the cost of the pitcher and the bowls by 50%, which is the only reason why I bought them. The original price on the bowl is not worth the money. Go with Hydro Flask instead. As mentioned, it's a shame they don't make a pitcher. ... show more
