It was thin but it worked with two inserts also it helps to have a handheld steamer. The blush color is very light which I love. It feels like cotton Sheets which is perfect bc where I live it’s hot. The blush color of this SERTA duvet cover is really pretty and feminine. The fabric is made of polyester and very thin. It is a little see trough so It will work best with a white insert. It feels very soft and depending of the weight of your insert can be used both in the summer or winter. I always like duvet covers because it let me change the look of my bed in minutes and take very little space to store. I am really impressed with this duvet cover and shams. The material is soft and a roll in the dryer gets out wrinkles. Best of all, this is a set that you can machine wash and tumble dry, no need for dry cleaning or other special care. The design of the cover includes fabric ties at each of the four corners to hold your comforter in place. The bottom closure is via a series of big buttons. I selected the ivory color which is a true ivory; it has a creamy appearance with yellow undertones. Because it is a light color it is slightly sheer, so pairing it with a solid white or light color comforter would be best. For the price, I believe you would be hard pressed to beat this duvet cover set. The material, design, and overall quality are excellent for the price point. This is definitely a set you could use in virtually any room as well as a great way to protect a comforter and add decorative pillows to it. ... show more

This is a good duvet set for the price point. It's not luxurious which is expected given it's so affordable. It has a soft microfiber velvety feeling fabric. The fabric seems to keep to the usual body temp and doesn't make the cover particularly cool or hot. It's great that at this price point that it still came with most features like the duvet ties, duvet buttons, flaps at the shams and decent stitching details. Overall stitching is decent but not the best. It isn't wrinkle free and the fabric though soft is fairly thin. I would find it difficult to make the bed to hotel standards with these sheets. Hah! We never made our bed to hotel standards anyway so it suites our needs. Great price point, does the job, soft and comfy to sleep on so all's good. ... show more

I ordered this for my sons room that has a navy and aqua blue theme. It fits well on the insert and has the ties in each corner like most duvets. I was nervous about the button closure but it has surprisingly stayed closed just fine. The material is really soft but also has that kinda warm, gonna make me sweat feel. My biggest complaint with this duvet is that the color is really bright for navy. You can see with the quilt that has a very true navy to it, that this is much brighter so it doesn’t match that well. Overall though I think this is a nice duvet and the comforter has stay put nicely inside. If the color matches your decor and you’re not a super hot sleeper I would recommend giving it a try. ... show more
