The comforter is very nice and soft, but the red is faded onto the plastic it is packaged in and faded onto areas of the sheet making it pink.

I love this item and needed it quickly. Unfortunately the red from the comforter bled into the sheets. It’s not a big deal and we were able to hide the color, but be careful to wash the comforter alone as it will bleed color. Overall it looks great in my sons room.

This duvet set is actually very soft, I really liked it, but the white cover had red stains when I opened the package. I washed it twice, but the red stains still didn’t come out. The duvet itself is very soft, thin, and I like it a lot, but the stains won’t come out at all on the white cover. I didn’t want to return it because I was too lazy, but maybe if you get a darker color, it won’t have any stains ... show more

We bought this for my freshman son's dorm. It was a set that we do not plan on using past his first year due to the color of the red bleeding onto the sheets and pilling material. For the price it was fine to keep and will get donated or recycled at the end of his second semester.
