What I like most about this comforter is how well it does at keeping me warm, but not hot. I tend to get hot at night when I sleep, and it’s been a struggle to find a blanket or comforter that is thick enough to block the air movement from the ceiling fan yet keep me warm at the same time. This comforter does an excellent job at that, and its just heavy enough to make me feel nice and comfy when covered. I have been using it for almost 2 months, and here are some of my other thoughts. When it was brand new, the material was a little stiff and somewhat noisy. My cat didn’t know what to think of it, and avoided it for several days. But after a few days use and rolling around in it, it loosened up and became much quieter. After it’s first wash, its now completely noise free and feels much softer and comfortable. That brings me to my next point, laundering this comforter. There is a big tag that says “DRY CLEAN ONLY” but me, like most people, are going to put this in the washer and dryer. It can be done safely and effectively, and these are my tips on that. I used the delicate cycle on the washer, and used the extra rinse setting. I added a SMALL amount of detergent and fabric softener. Adding too much of either will cause you to have a lot of trouble removing it from the feathers inside, and it is extremely important that those feathers inside are rinsed thoroughly and without any residue left behind so they can dry properly. If they are not allowed to dry properly, you will be left with a musty comforter and that smell will be MUCH harder to remove afterwards. I then used the delicate cycle on the dryer, and about every 10 minutes I took it out, readjusted it, and put back in so that each and every part of it was dried thoroughly. All things considered, now that I have “broken” it in, I really have no complaints at all. It is comfortable, light to medium weight, and perfect for sleepers like me who tend to sleep hot. It also looks great, and can be inserted inside of a duvet in case the white color and pattern don’t match the rest of your bedroom linens or overall scheme. It is also from a brand I know and trust, who are experts in the field. I really like it and would recommend it to others.

I like a very fluffy down comforter that you do not feel the feathers at all. This is a feather and downy insert. It seemed to be really lightweight too.

I'm Always a Little skeptical buying name brand items on Amazon when I know I can get them at various other box stores. But this blanket came in and it's great quality and it is actual name brand and not a knock off so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how well it was packaged and the quality of the product. Serta is a great brand and they really came through on this blanket as well I have purchased multiple other ones like this before. Instead of doing all season I just did a light warmth King blanket this time and I have to say this was the right route. We live in Texas in our very hot sleepers, We typically keep the room at 67 to 68° and get too hot with traditional Down. This one is great.

The media could not be loaded. This really feels like a luxury buy—it's incredibly cozy and sinfully soft. I love its warmth and soft feel. It has a near perfect balance between warmth and breathability for a comforter. On chilly nights, the Serta Goose Down Comforter keeps me wonderfully warm and happy without feeling stifling or overwhelming. In those areas, this comforter is nearly perfect. One area it does struggle is with the choice of fabric for the liner. When shifting positions or moving around in bed, the fabric produces a noticeable rustling sound. I included a video so you can hear it and judge for yourself if it is an issue for you. Mind you, it's not crazy loud - but this is a premium-priced product, and I have very high expectations because of it! I plan on picking up a duvet cover to both protect the comforter and reduce the noise. Despite the noisy cover fabric, I still feel that this comforter is a worthwhile purchase for anyone seeking a bit of at-home luxury with a soft and warm sleeping experience. The noise level hasn't significantly impacted my ability to sleep soundly, and the overall comfort and coziness of the comforter far outweigh this minor issue.

I love a real goose down comforter. There is nothing better. And this comforter is great. Lightweight yet still warm enough to use on cool nights not cold though. The one thing I don’t like is the material it is made out of. I don’t know if it has something to do with the cooling factor or not. But it is just weird. It has a paper like feel to it. But even that will not keep me from using this with my duvet. It is well made and a quality product. Just wish the outside material was softer.

I was looking for an all-season down comforter that is cool in the summer months and warm in the winter. This Serta Goose Down comforter is perfect. Really love the feel of it and with the cross stitch the feathers stay where they are supposed to be...evenly distributed throughout. This comforter gives you that same feel like you're staying at a luxury hotel in the comfort of your own bedroom. Highly recommended!!!

This is a very nice comforter. It is filled with down, but I have not found any quills poking through. That is a big bonus, nobody likes a scratchy blanket. This one is actually a lot nicer than I expected. When I ordered it, I actually did not even realize It was a Serta. That brand alone says a lot. but, you can't buy solely based on a brand name. I was actually really impressed with the quality of the comforter when it arrived. it is very comfortable, made out of very soft material, and actually pretty heavy. Great product, great price. Highly recommended.
