What a great buy! This has been a great solution to our backyard picnics. So easy to set up and I absolutely love the size of the water holding tank. Just all-around it’s a GREAT Los set up. I would say that the strainer in the sink might need to be removed because debris was being trapped and Backing the water up in the bowl, but even that was such a simple fix. Durable but not forever. I wouldn't say it's a long lasting item because the base gets loose and the sink starts tilting, the drain hose is flimsy so you have to be careful ours snapped in half but we still loved having it camping. It does stain easy but overall when you want to wash your hands without walking all the way to the bath house at a campground or you are boondocking it comes in handy. We camp more often than your average family so for most I would rate it very high. For regular use or frequent travel I would say it's iffy but worth it. ... show more

This is the second sink I've purchased. We have a mechanic shop, and in order for us to have running water in the building the county wanted us to pay a ton of ridiculous fees and inspections and would then require us to install a full working restroom to offer our customers... so in order to save us close to $9k we haul water to wash our hands. The original sink we purchased withstood 3 years of 6 day weeks in a mechanic shop. The guys are not gentle and wash their hands constantly throughout the day. I just purchased a second one because the first had started to leak from the hose on the bottom. This product is perfect for outdoor camping. We use it for our Boy Scout Troop and it works well. This item encourages the boys to wash more often and they enjoy it being more accessible, located in the center of the campsite. We have already purchased a second one.

QUICK TIP: if you are assembling the sink, put the sink bowl on the ground, put the stand in, then put the base on and use it as a flat plate to press down. YOU WILL NOT get it on trying to assemble ground up. Its too hard haha. REVIEW: Assembly was horrible, limited instructions. pieces didn't fit and I had to heat the plastic to force them together. The pumping gets old fast if you have to wash more than just your hands real quick. The rag hanger isn't long enough or curved enough at the end so rags slide off often. Sink basin is too small to wash even a medium sized plate. Water splashes everywhere. You cant really tell when you are out of water until its almost gone. Unless you REALLY need a sink with you id look to any other alternative. The only reason I cant recommend this as something to avoid is because I got it for $60. At that price I don't mind the issues for the convivence of having a mini sink next to my grill. I wouldn't advise this for breakdown and camping/traveling. My son and his 3rd grade class participated in a local beach cleanup. It was actually 3rd, 4th and 5th graders and their families who participated. We had a BBQ afterwards to celebrate Earth Day and over 50 pairs of hands had to be washed, not to mention all the BBQ equipment afterwards. This sink performed flawlessly. The plastic column that connects the bowl to the base is a little wobbly, but other than that, it held up to multiple washings. I only filled up the base with 3 gallons of water and there was still a gallon of water left when it was time to go home! This thing is really efficient. The pump action is good, but I found that if you do one solid press, rather than pumping, you can get a steady stream of water that is good enough to rinse your hands. The soap dispenser lacks a cap to keep the soap in once you fill it up. If you transport the sink bowl, unassembled from the base, the soap dispenser pump could get damaged. I found a cap from a bottle of baby oil that fit perfectly and I use that when transporting so the soap doesn't spill out. We used a 5 gallon paint bucket to collect the grey water, but I will use a 3 gallon oil container with lid going forward in case I can't dump the grey water right away. Plus this container is collapsible. You can also order a custom waste water container from Amazon, but I didn't want to spend money just to hold dirty water. In a campsite setting, if you are camping over grass or dirt, you could just let the dirty water drain on the ground as long as everything was biodegradable. HINT: Dig a small hole about 6"-10" deep so the waste water doesn't puddle or flood around your camp area. The storage bag is really thin but it is better than a plastic bag. I would have hoped for a thicker, denier nylon or canvas bag, but it's alright. Snapping the sink onto the column that attaches to the base is easier if you put soap on the part that goes into the sink bowl and turn everything upside down, applying even pressure until the column snaps into the sink bowl. I tried removing the bowl from the column to make it even easier for storage and transport, but it felt like it would break, so I left it attached. It worked for washing dishes and fruit and veggies, too, and the plactic is HDPE, so it's safe for food, drinking and brushing teeth. Just make sure when you fill it up, you either do it directly from a tap or use a "white" food grade hose instead of the regular rubber hose. Save the box to transport it, if you can, since the parts seem fragile and susceptible to breaking if tossed around in the back of pickup or SUV.
