The bike is extremely easy to assemble with little to no mechanical ability required. I really enjoy that the tires are a medium-firmness foam material, which offers good wear with lots of use yet still provides cushion for the little guy when he dares to go over those hard bumps. Another great feature is the addition of the rubberized bumpers on the ends of the handlebars. One oversight of design are the location of the small foot rests. They seem to originally be there to allow children to go fast and rest their feet up as they go but for those just beginning, they tend to get in the way of their legs.
