I really like this little kit. Mine came with both the stickered tips and the white polish. I've tried both applications, so my review is based on both. The instructions for use is very clear and easy to understand, so much so that after regular use I believe I should be able to do my nails without having to consult the user's guide. The sticker tips is the only reason I'm not giving a 5-star review. The removal from the pack wasn't as difficult as I'd imagined (based on other reviews), but it did curl up after removal, so application took longer than I would have liked. I also realised, very belatedly, that the key to getting a better smile line would have been to start from the middle of the nail, and then work out towards the sides of the nail. When I started from one edge to go to the other, my smile line ended up being almost in the middle of my fingernail and just didn't look right. However, once on and the manicure completed, the white certainly pops and looks uniformed. Unfortunately, my joy was short-lived. My hands are always in water, and so from the very next day the whites started lifting, and before even a week had passed, all my nail tips were chipped and looking terrible. The white polish gives a longer lasting manicure. I was able to last a full week before the signs of a chip was visible and by the end of 2 weeks, only half of my nails are chipped. I need more practice perfecting the smile lines, but it wasn't difficult at the first attempt. The finished product gives an incredible glossy shine that looks just as fresh 2-weeks later. Other than the tips, I experienced no other lifting or peeling. The curing time adds maybe an extra 10-15 minutes to a standard manicure. The removal process was a lot easier and a lot less time consuming than I imagined, even though I totally forgot to buff off the top coat. All in all, I'm glad I bought myself this. I can do my manicures at my leisure at a way more affordable price!

This came so much sooner than the expected delivery date, so that was nice. Though It was obvious it had been opened before like it was a return that had been repackaged or something. Nevertheless, I still tried the products. It was a bit tricky at first, but can be perfected with practice. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully; I shook the pink nail polish well before apply it and used one coat, so it’s very sheer, but noticeable; the picture doesn’t do the pink justice! I may try again with two coats. When using the LED light, the sound it makes after some time signals 30 seconds; when the light goes off, it’s been 60 seconds. Cure the base coat for 30 seconds only, then the color and top coat for 60 seconds, so it doesn’t crack. I wish the white stickers had a smaller size for the pinky; but I managed to work with what was there. For a shinier finish, I first cured with the top coat provided, used the cleanser to wipe off tackiness, then used the Aimeli no wipe top coat and cured for 60-90 seconds. This is not the best French manicure I’ve done, but I’ll get better at it hopefully!

This is a pretty good starter kit. I achieved a salon quality French gel manicure with this product for a fraction of the cost of what they would charge at a nail salon. They give you enough product for multiple manicures. I highly recommend watching the YouTube nail tutorial on this product. The kit comes with a primer, 2-in-1 base/top coat, a gel polish (pink), gel white polish, cuticle stick, nail buffer, lint wipes, gel cleanser, white-tip stickers, and UV lamp. I followed the tutorial on YouTube. Personally, I don't recommend using the white-tip stickers. Within hours (even after using the 2-in-1 top coat over it), the corners started to lift and get scratched (that was after sweeping and mopping my house!). I didn't like the fact that the stickers wore down so easily. Not only that, I personally found it really time consuming to work with them because of the trimming and shaping of each nail (I have really small nails). This is why I gave this product 4/5 stars. I went back and fixed my manicure using the white gel polish included in the kit. I recommend using the white gel polish over the stickers. The final outcome can be seen in the photo I included in my review. All-in-all, this kit is worth a try and your money.

I waited a few weeks to review this product. After having used it and waited to see how long it would last. Pros: Dries insanely fast. Fantastic if you have very little patience. Looks shiny and glossy the entire time it's applied. Even my weak nails grew long and didn't break. While the polish was on at least. Was well worth the time it took (about an hour) to apply. Lasted (me) about 12 days. Cons: There's A LOT of steps. Especially if doing the french manicure. The white strips are useless. The white polish is, as one can imagine, difficult to apply. More so with the non dominant hand. You must lightly buff (aka sand away) the top of your nail before applying anything. Therefore you damage your nail. When it starts to chip, it's not easy to remove. AT ALL. Once removed your nails feel rough and weak. To be honest... I love the results you can achieve with this gel polish. Very nice to look at. And I don't have to reapply nail polish every 3-5 days. But in that same sense I'm also STUCK with the same color for 10+days. If you like different colors frequently, this isn't for you. It really reminds me of getting acrylic nails. The process....the damage...the difficulty removing. The need for acetone. I'll use it but not all the time. I don't want to completely shred my nails. In other words: I won't be tossing my regular mail polish collection any time soon.
