  • TL:DR I feel like it’s worth the money.
Color: Black
First impressions: The build quality of everything but the actual earbuds seems worse than the Sony WI-C200 that I was replacing. The actual earbuds themselves seem solid and it looks like they used what looks like a bit of aluminum in them whereas the Sony earbuds were completely plastic. The cords on the CX 350BT are a lot shorter though that doesn’t appear to be an issue for me yet. The longer cord on the Sony was a bit of an issue after the left speaker stopped working after only a week of normal use as I use these during work to help with boredom. I work a manufacturing job and have to wear earmuffs and other safety gear and occasionally the left earbud would fall down and pull the right earbud out of my ear making me have to constantly adjust it every ten minutes. This may just be because I was only using the right side but even when using both of them I would still need to adjust them often as they wouldn’t stay in my ear well. I have yet to use the CX 350BT as I normally would but I suspect the shorter cord will help. The sound is great for someone who wants high quality sound but isn’t looking to hear every single detail or hear absurd details that audiophiles would have to hear to justify this purchase. As stated previously, I don’t need to hear every little detail in all the songs I just want to hear most of it because I’m going to be working in a factory where those details will most likely be drowned out by the noise. A lot of comments talk about how awful the low-end/bass whatever you want to call it is, for me it’s great and it does what I want it to. A lot of people say the sound is so bad that they can’t justify spending $100 on this but I’m confident in saying that their expectations were somewhere in the realm of having the sound quality of nice audiophile-grade headphones in a tiny little Bluetooth speaker. Let’s also not forget that people also buy AirPods from Apple for $150 and are happy with it’s average sound quality. Overall, the reviews seem to be complaints from people who don’t exactly know what they’re getting into and think that just because it’s from Sennheiser they’re gonna be able to hear the precise frequency each note in each song is played at like they’re looking at it through a microscope for sound. Though I have yet to put it through its paces, I feel like this is worth the money ... show more

  • Well-balanced audio quality for a reasonable price
Color: Black
I purchased these because I wanted a pair of bluetooth ear buds for both music and work calls. I've always enjoyed the audio quality from Sennheiser products and these do not dissappoint. Music is well-balanced with clear vocals and ample bass. I haven't played with the recent update that added an equalizer to the app, but plan to do so simply because I like to play around with things like that. That said, I'm perfectly happy with the audio as is. Regarding bass response from these buds, I was initially hesitant to purchase based on some reviews saying the bass is non-existent. While I don't primarily listen to bass-heavy music, I like to know the bass is there. I decided to trust the Sennheiser brand and try it, and am happy I did. A major factor to consider when reading reviews on audio quality: Consider the source the music is coming from. Unfortunately most reviews don't mention this. For instance, the audio is considerably better coming from my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8) vs. my wife's phone (Moto X4) using the same song and music service. The Samsung has better audio processing capabilities and therefore the same song sounds better. I can see this as a potential factor for people complaining about lack of bass. Also, make sure you're using the best fit for your ears. A solid fit to your ear dramatically increases the bass response that you hear. A lot of it is also personal preference so I would try them out and judge for yourself. I only have 2 complaints on these buds: 1. The cord lays on my shoulders unevenly with the weight skewed to the left, which tends to pull the bud out of my left ear. 2. The charging port cover was hard to open, and difficult to close fully once open. Not the worst thing in the world, and the reason why I rated comfort 4 instead of 5. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend for someone looking for excellent audio quality at a reasonable price. ... show more

  • Decent product
Color: White
Sound is pretty good and the buds stay in the ear. My only knock is the button layout. If you're laying in bed, in the dark, it's a bit difficult to understand the buttons by feel alone. Making the buttons bigger, spaced out farther and raised more would help.

  • Great sound quality and mic for its size. Amazingly light.
Color: Black
Battery life is decent for the size. Wish it lasted a little longer. Lasts about 1 day of regular use (9-12hrs). Nice feature include ability to mute while on call (hold vol. down) and auto shut off when not paired. Wish holding vol. up when paired would still give battery life prompt, only seems to prompt when not paired. Connects quickly after turning on and sound quality is very very good for ear buds. As others have described the sound quality is just high enough and not overbearing to remain comfortable and not fatiguing as most others with super bass and treble levels. These levels are “just right” for music and speech clarity. Sound amazing with symphonic, trance, hip hop etc. I’ve been told the mic is very good as well. Has pretty good noise cancellation (for its size) from my recordings. Fit could use some improvement. Doesn’t seem to be equally balanced when resting on the neck with only one ear bud in. Tends to drop to the other side tugging on the ear the bud is in. ... show more
