Yes I've arrived at a certain age where I can't get the club head velocity or accuracy the way I used to, maybe never did. This mattered most using irons, not so much on the green or tee. I was losing two or three shots every hole making divots on the fairway or landing in the water or hunting in the woods. And just a little too much time in the sand. If I wanted sand and water, I'd go to the beach. I blamed it all on me, but it wasn't me It was the way irons require a perfectly positioned club head at contact with velocity. When I saw this complete set of hybrids, I knew instantly this would be heaven on the fairway. Now fairway shots have solid contact EVERY TIME, accurate direction and predictable distance. Holy moly. This allows me to play strategically, picking the exact right club for each shot (like a pro does), impossible for me before. It's almost a science now. I can actually play the game. On a par 5 I can usually get to within pitching range of the green in three (avoiding the bunkers reliably) get to the green in 4 and two putt in. I could be a par golfer with more practice and actually get to the green in 3, or one-putt, but I'm just not there yet. But who cares? Instead of frustration on almost every hole, I'm finally enjoying the game again. Finally I can play golf well and enjoy it too. And these clubs LOOK as fabulous and as expensive as they play. Other guys actually stop me and ask about them. Thank you.

First a little background. I’m 61 and other than going to the driving range on occasion I have played probably less than 10 rounds of golf in the past 25 years. Since moving to SW Florida recently I decided that I wanted to start playing once again and the cheap irons that I had were not cutting it. After reading all the positive reviews for the Majek Hybrid Irons set I decided to give them a try. After viewing a few videos on the proper way to hit hybrid irons it was off to the driving range to give them a try. After just a few balls I was hitting solid and straight on nearly every swing which never happened using my old irons. Although I don’t have much distance (nothing to do with the clubs) I am extremely happy with these clubs and look forward to getting out on the course. These clubs are easy to control and hit solid. Also note that the clubs DO come with headcovers although it’s not mentioned in the description (I returned the set I ordered separately).

I have been golfing a long time, and these clubs help me hit balls straighter than I have ever hit before, and now that I am over 60 with shoulder surgery, I know my swing is not and fast as it use to be, the senior flex it god sent! I now hit these the same distances I used too hit my irons when I wan younger, except now I hit them straight! I love these clubs, One note, the do come with head covers, so you don't need to order them separate.

Excellent clubs! Do not be fooled by the fact that these are senior flex clubs. They play closer to a regular flex. I am in my early 50’s and am super happy with them. If you struggle to hit long and midrange irons like I do, then these are the clubs for you. To be a good iron player you have to strike down on the ball and “punch” it. That is a difficult swing to master and requires a lot of clubhead speed. These hybrid irons allow you to use a sweeping swing (striking the ball upward) and still get great iron results. These clubs instantly improved my game by several strokes. If your swing mechanics are solid, then these clubs are far more accurate and forgiving than conventional irons. The graphite shafts give you good distance without having to generate high clubhead speeds.
