The Outrush R is a Bluetooth modular motorcycle helmet that features seamless integration of Sena’s world-class audio Bluetooth system. The Outrush R comes complete with a sleek and versatile modular design, integrated speakers and a microphone, and smartphone pairing to access music and phone on your ride. Powered by Bluetooth 5.0, the Outrush R features 4-way Intercom, allowing up to four riders to pair their Sena Bluetooth devices to one another. Additionally, when connecting to just one other rider, users will experience 2-way HD Intercom, which will enhance the audio quality on the trip. Users can expect an impressive 900-meter (0.5 miles) intercom range and a talk time of up to 12 hours with the Outrush R. This item complies with US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 218 (FMVSS 218) (DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified).

I ride often. I ride with windshields on my bikes and without. I’ve owned this helmet for just over a year and the tabs that allow the helmet to stay open sheared off within 8 months. I’ve been dealing with SENA support for about 3 months now and they’re frustrating. As for the quality of speakers and comfort of the helmet, both are great. Had a problem trying to get the microphone to work via buttons to no avail. Since being broken I don’t use it anymore so I can’t say I’ve put a good deal of effort into fixing said microphone problem. All in all if it were a tad cheaper and they upgraded the visor system it would be an excellent helmet. ... show more

Love the built in sun visor, it’s dark enough you don’t need to wear sun glasses. Looks great and comfortable.

Average helmet, on par with my old Bell. It has a snug fit, I bought a small for a 54cm oval head and it is tight, size chart says I was an extra small. No appreciable sound deadening. Helmet will be hot but vent does cool top of head. Haven't tried the blue tooth hook up yet.

I didn’t purchase this on Amazon. Local shop. The helmet is loud. Wind noise. Engine noise. I’ve had a 3/4 open face helmet that had much better sound isolation for less. I put earplugs in to kill some of the noise. That then leads to having the volume all the way up to hear music. I never expected great music quality but the problem is without earplugs music would be drowned out by wind and engine noise; with earplugs, well you’re wearing earplugs… ... show more

So I have 2 sena helmets now and I regret it. Sena has an app and all kinds of features IF you can get them to work. Out of the box more than likely it's gonna recomend you update to the latest firmware. We'll good freaking luck. Sena won't licence the drivers through Microsoft so good luck updating the software with the USB cable they include. Just type into Google "senna software update problems. USB can t recognize" I'm writing this review to warn everyone I can. For 200-300$ they should have it together. ... show more
