The Outrush R is a Bluetooth modular motorcycle helmet that features seamless integration of Sena’s world-class audio Bluetooth system. The Outrush R comes complete with a sleek and versatile modular design, integrated speakers and a microphone, and smartphone pairing to access music and phone on your ride. Powered by Bluetooth 5.0, the Outrush R features 4-way Intercom, allowing up to four riders to pair their Sena Bluetooth devices to one another. Additionally, when connecting to just one other rider, users will experience 2-way HD Intercom, which will enhance the audio quality on the trip. Users can expect an impressive 900-meter (0.5 miles) intercom range and a talk time of up to 12 hours with the Outrush R. This item complies with US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 218 (FMVSS 218) (DOT FMVSS No. 218 Certified).

The media could not be loaded. Bought one size up and it fits perfect. Excellent Helmet for the money. Fit and finish is excellent. Everything seems to function perfectly. I’ve only used it a few times in warm weather, I wish there was more air vents to open on warm days. Bluetooth connected to my phone instantly, call quality is excellent, speakers are more than adequate, can’t raise the volume all the way otherwise it’s to loud. Love this helmet. Live in the sweltering summers and humidity of Louisiana. Bought a cheap and durable helmet to test drive my now new motorcycle, but I needed something with more airflow and technology. Has a companion app for the helmet so you can play music AND have your navigation going at the same time! Also, links up with your buddies while on a long ride. love that the helmet is rated to have the chin portion up and locked in place while riding for those days you want to feel the fresh air on your face. Absolutely love the hands-free phone calling. Was on my way home after dark when my elderly neighbor called to check in on me... about halfway through the call, I asked how the call sounded ( as I had the front part of the helmet up and locked in place, was doing around 60 mph down the Hwy and was 100% hands-free and full attention to the road; while I was also taking his call. Blew his mind! I had looked at a similar style helmet from Germany, which cost 3-4 times what this one does ( once you get the helmet and the BT kit that is built for it specifically). I just couldn't see myself parting with so much money at this time, had just graduated from The Harley Driving Academy in the literally hottest part of the summer this year... and almost had a heat stroke. I did my homework and found this exact same helmet that some slap a logo on and charge twice as much for just over $200. I would absolutely purchase this helmet again! I have been using this helmet for a while now and I really enjoy it. I do recommend going up one size when ordering. I'm a large in other helmets but XL in this one. It does fit great and comfortable. The modular features sure make it nice. Also, the connectivity with other riders using Sena make for easy communication. So I was very skeptical about buying this helmet due to the fact that people were having sound issues but I did anyways because of the price and functionality of this helmet. And it's a SENA. So after watching a bunch of videos about sound not sounding right the number 1 issue was placement of speakers so I gave it a go. I mean what a difference. I created steps to show you how to fix it. ......... 1. Remove padding around ears to get to the speaker behind and pull the speaker out of hole. 2. Get some velcro and cut some circles to fit hole or buy some already curt circles. 3. Refill the hole with velcro circles and some back to back or front to front to fill the hole flush. However they need to stick to each other right. 4. Make sure the last part of velcro up is the hairy side so it sticks to the speaker. I moved it to about here in photo to work best for me. Most like works for you too. 5. Putting padding back in and speaker should be raised and almost center in the place to the left of where the strap goes through. Sounds 300% better and I can actually hear bass now. Almost too loud on occasion. You're welcome. ... show more

    • It's a ok helmet
The helmet is comfortable for the price. The bluetooth doesn't work very well. Can't control anything by voice, have to do it through the phone like answering a call or changing music. Speakers are OK up to about 55 mph after that you can't hear a pod cast or a audio book. You can hear music when going faster though. Called sena to see about warranty because I can't answer a call even when pushing the helmet buttons but they want me to send it back at my expense and it cost $53 to ship it back. Rather spend that money on a better Bluetooth system then worry I'll get the same problems in a replacement helmet. ... show more

I currently have five helmets. I ride motorcycle in the south during the winter and north during summer. I have now had this SENA helmet for a year and it is by far the best helmet I own.

    • Pretty nice helmet
The fit is good if you size up. I was close to the 2xl and and orders that. The speakers good be a little better but overall nice helmet and the mic has no background noise.
