It was weird trying to set this up, with so much curvature in the shape it was weird getting the angle right. I ended up going by the rails underneath, but even with a small angle up (about 1 degree) there's so much gel padding on the back half that I keep sliding onto the middle part where there's sort of a dip. And then I have to keep resetting my position when I notice things getting uncomfortable. The sturdiness and quality of the seat is beyond reproach, but I think I'm just not the target audience for this particular shape and/or size. I do think I'll try another Selle seat, but maybe something that's not so heavily padded in the back. ... show more

After much research decided to give this saddle a try. Had been screwing around trying a few other saddles pricey ones too with no results in eliminating perineal pain. First tested out today my usual 2hr ride no discomfort! Worth every penny!
