I was having some problems with tennis elbow and a doctor friend suggested changing paddles to something that hit softer with less vibrations going up the handle. This is a fat/thick paddle that doesn’t POP when you smash it, but rather WHOOSHES. I don’t feel I get the power off this paddle like my old one, but the fat paddle gives me more control so I’m not so much as a banger… which has improved my game. PS, With the reduced vibration my tennis elbow is better now also. Win-win. ... show more

Much much better control with this paddle. Heavier than the "starter" paddle I used when began playing but i can hit the ball harder with more authority and control. Be better if the handle was an inch or two longer. Overall, I am glad to have purchased this. Maybe I will get the one with the longer handle also. ... show more

As an experienced tennis player, I wanted to take up pickelball. I was advised to get this larger racquet as it would be easier to adapt to pickleball after playing with a tennis racquet. Amazon's price was much less than our local tennis store- same racquet.

This paddle absorbs incoming shots at a hard pace and is a big step up from most paddles. I purchased the medium weight paddle, which works well for me. The paddle has stood up to a lot of use and is a great paddle from beginner to intermediate players.
