The lighting on this HONOMO selfie light is amazing super bright with adjustable settings that work great for selfies, videos, and content creation. It clips on easily and is lightweight, which makes it super convenient for on-the-go use. However, it doesn’t seem to hold a charge very well. I have to recharge it more often than expected, even with light use. It’s a great tool if you need occasional lighting boosts, but the battery life could definitely use some improvement.

The device has a small form factor but it provides a lot of light with 120 hi-output LEDs. It has an ON/OFF switch as well as rotary controls, one for the color of light, and the other for intensity. It also is equipped with two attachments: one can enable the device to be clipped onto a monitor or smart phone either in landscape or portrait orientation, and another to enable it to be mounted to a still camera via a cold shoe. It can be in a vertical or horizontal orientation because it has two tripod sockets mounted into the body of the light, in 2 places. It is particularly good for portraiture as you can adjust the color of the light from very warm to very cold depending on the tone of the subject's skin. As a continuous video light, I would estimate its effective distance to be no more than 15-20'. It won't light up a field at night, but it is particularly useful for photographing small items as well as being a light for taking selfies. The quality of the light is soft because it's projected through a translucent, white diffuser. It comes with a USB-A- to- USB-C charging cord. When fully charged, and switched on with maximum light output continuously, the light lasted for approx. 2 3/4 hours before needing to be recharged, in my trial.

This is a very bright and lightweight rechargeable light. It comes with shoes and screws to fit multiple mounting options. The included clip is strong and tight, too. I appreciate the analog controls - old school dials to control the color and brightness - no apps or Bluetooth to fuss with. It also has a physical switch and uses the ever present USB-C to charge. I counted all 120 LEDS and it tests out at 3000mAh - this means the unit should be kept plugged in if you plan to use it for long at full brightness. The handy clip and recharging ability make this a good light for camping or work situations too.
