I intended to use this as closet storage but when it was put together, I was blown away with how cute it is! So, now it is going in a space that gets lots of attention. I love that it is sturdy, the baskets are good quality and it’s just sooo cute! My husband put it together in an hour, he said that it was fairly easy. I am considering buying another! I bought this for the family room. Very nice, exactly what I wanted. Sturdy, graduated shelves, nice brushed gold detailing. The storage baskets are great for our grandson's books and little treasures . The instructions say you may want to anchor it, but on our wood flooring, it is steady and level. This item appears very good quality for its price. I am very happy with this purchase - I cannot say that about many itmes I have purchased for my house recently. The bakers rack is very attractive and fits very cozy in the corner behind my table. Although my house is laid out to be spacious I really don't have a lot of room and this fits wonderfully. I am delighted with this purchase. My only wish is that it was a little taller so the shelves could be spaced farther apart, but I am still able to store my coffee mugs, travel mugs, and multiple boxes of Keurig pods. ... show more

We have an air intake vent in our living room that is huge and this covers it perfectly. Still high enough for air to get in but it's completely non-noticable now. I also love how sturdy it is. Our german shepherd has rammed it a few times and things don't come crashing down. It's a beautiful display piece as well. Absolutely a gem. Totally recommend it - or any SEI furniture. The only negative I could sort of give it is that some of the bars have some brass color showing through the black but I think that just gives it character. ... show more

This item is nothing like the product that is pictured or described. The item I received is NOT powder coated black - it is glossy finish with a hideous gold painted pin stripe all along the edges and details. NOT made of durable steel - it's flimsy aluminum and reminds me of a cheap curtain rod and certainly not worth $188!! The only reason it got a star at all is because Amazon won't let me post without one!! I wanted to attach photos showing this thing, but didn't see where I could attach them. Do NOT waste your hard earned money on something that you can get at the thrift store for about $10!! Extremely disappointed in this product!! This thing is going back IMMEDIATELY!!! ... show more

The bakers rack is cute, however I think it is priced too high. Assembly was not hard, and its pretty sturdy if you anchor it to the wall. It's just very small for my area and I've seen similar racks at a better price.
