    • The perfect desk for me
I got this desk to put all my crafting stuff on, (Crochet tools, printer, thermal printer, cricut and sewing machine) and I still have plenty of room on the shelves for more. The assembly was MOSTLY easy. I had to switch a few parts around after putting them on because the instructions weren’t entirely clear on certain parts. I was able to assemble this desk by myself. It took me a few hours but that’s because my kids kept trying to “help”. Once it was all put together the right way, it’s very sturdy. I was worried that some of the holes wouldn’t line up like other people have said but I didn’t have that issue once everything was done. (Again, I had to switch some pieces around to get the right fitting.) It’s a big desk with more than enough room for all of my stuff. It’s a little heavy but that’s an issue for moving day since we live upstairs lol. The monitor stand it comes with doesn’t attach to the desk so I’m currently not using it for its intended purpose. If you don’t have your desk against a wall, I wouldn’t use it to put a monitor on unless you want it to fall and break. All in all, I absolutely love this desk. I looked around trying to find my perfect desk and landed on this one. I’m so happy I got this desk and would choose it all over again if I had to get a new one. Amazing! So sturdy and beautiful and wipes off easy if something spills! I was able to store over 200 books on this! I love it! It fits all my needs so much so that I ordered another for my husband’s gaming stuff also!

Overall, its a good desk. Cons: the side with the outlet in it is very small amd narrow despite the pictures trying to show a laptop on it... I mean I guess if it was a tiny cell phone sized laptop. Received this desk a few months ago and will say it's been holding up great. My son is 6'2 20plbs, and this is high enough for him to have leg room, plus the entire space underneath is open. No bars crossing mid way to move around which is nice. He can move around the interior freely without knocking on anything. Was fairly easy to put together. All screws and peices were included. All of the wholes were precut in correct locations. Directions were simple to understand and visually clear to follow. Set included tools, but I usually keep a few extra handy myself just because of the sizes. Being a woman I can't always get them as tight as I'd like using smaller Allen wrenches or screwdrivers. Not that these should be over tightened because they WILL strip out if so. We chose not to install the laptop/computer shelf that was included. You can't even tell that something is missing. My son preferred the extra height for his legs. The computer shelf is about 4 inches high so it can hinder the space underneath the desk. It's very easy to clean, warm water with mild dish soap seems to work best, then dry with hand towel. The extra shelves on the side provide so much added room for storage. Were able to stack plastic organizer totes on the wider side of the shelves for his craft stuff and still use the narrower sides for his figures and display items. I was hesitant at first of the quality considering it seemed like particle board. Which it may be underneath. But it's a heavier thicker type of plastic coating on all of the boards. The metal legs and structure pieces are thick and strong. No issues at all. No chipping, bending, warping or staining. Would recommend as an affordable functional desk for sure. ... show more

Perfect for our space. We built our daughter a loft and I measured the space before and built it to fit perfectly and I was so happy that the measurements given were accurate. Couple tips in assembly: 1. I had to adjust the desk twice because I put the wrong side in. So double check the measurements of the holes in relation to the attaching pieces. 2. Follow the advice to not tighten all the screws until the end 3 one of my holes were not there at the end, but after 5 hours of putting it together, I didn’t worry about it - the extra time was because I had the wrong spacing between the holes facing the wrong direction, so I had to take it apart and put it back together. ... show more
