The brown color was darker than I thought it would be. I would have ordered the black if I had known how dark the brown was. With that said, the shipment arrived early. The instructions were pretty easy to follow, and it took 2 people a couple of hours to put together. There’s plenty of work space, and it seems to be well made. I had to buy the wood, paint and angle clips to make & install a back board. This is necessary to keep things falling off the back of the desk which once the computer, monitor, printer, etc are installed it is a pain to move the desk out to reach items that have fallen off the back side of the desk. see attached picture of back board. Obviously, the designer and builder of the desk has never used a computer desk or they would certainly have included a back board with it. ... show more

I was sure to follow all directions carefully and the top of the desk is incorrect. The holes do not line up so there is a big gap at the back of the desk, it is not even. It would be a nice desk had it not been for this issue

I like the desk. It is sturdy and the shelf is a nice touch. I don’t like how hard it was to put together. Not that it was a difficult task, but rather it was a lot of time trying to make sure the parts were right because they were either mislabeled or they didn’t have a label at all. As someone who has had lots of experience assembling these types of things, this made assembly a lot harder and longer than it needed to be. I would say overall it is a good desk. ... show more

Overall easy to assemble thanks to the directions…which honestly some parts could’ve have been done before others to make the process smoother. But so far I give them 2 stars. I am unable to build the shelf (one of the main reasons I picked this desk) due to a missing part (the other side panel of the shelf) which I have sent via chat to the manufacturer. I’m also unable to fit about 4 screws for the top cover ( item 19) since the screws are off (even rotated the board to see if they connect…nope) . Pending response/resolution will also affect the final review of the product (basing on :build ease, condition, customer service, and if functional) ... show more

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Amazon it’s to ignore every person who gets on here and says an RTA item is junk because of bad instructions, misaligned holes, etc. Its almost always some middle aged man who thinks he’s Bob Vila who can’t read instructions or be bothered to pay attention to part numbers and then gets mad that two NEARLY, but not TRULY identical parts aren’t interchangeable and halfway through the assembly he can’t continue because - surprise! - the holes don’t line up. This product was fantastic and for the price you can’t beat it. Descriptions, dimensions and pictures were extremely accurate. The desk dimensions are a little small - my son is 5’6 and the depth is a little shallow, and the keyboard drawer doesn’t leave room for a mouse if you have a standard keyboard with ten key. Good quality especially for the price, will definitely purchase this brand again! GOOD INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU READ THEM! ... show more
