Also I recommend wiping each panel with a windex rag before assembling. The desk is great. Very sturdy. The instructions are clear and it is easy to assemble. Plan on it taking a couple of hours. The freight company (Fedx) was a little rough during shipping but the item was well packed and it only had one damaged part. Customer service was fantastic. Ordered me a replacement part that arrived in just a few days. We will see how it holds up, but so far I'm very happy with the purchase. ... show more

Its beautiful as it is in the picture. However, the downside was, it took a whole day to mount them together because ALL the parts vs sections comes in piece by piece.

    • Can not be built in place.
Color: Oak Size: 78.8" L Shaped Desk
This desk is HUGE!!! I really really like it. I am running Twin ultra thin desktops, 3 monitors, laser printer, 3D printer, scale, shredder, ele pencil sharpner, internet router, phone charger. I'll give this 4 stars, it probably deserves 5, however.... Whomever engineed this missed a few oppprtunities at greatness. First: When you bolt the square metal plates on for stability, a 3rd on the frontside in the center of the 2 on the back would work wonders for strength. Second: When you beveled the longer table top all the way, it weakens the joint. If you had only beveled the part you can see, you would have full thickness of both tops butted up against each other, which I belive would make a smoother and stronger joint. Third: A second power strip at a 90⁰ to the existing one would be solid gold. A desk this big may be running a 3D printer and a second computer. Fourth: The absolute worst mistake is putting the cam-locks for the desk top on the backside. It would be just as easy to put them under the desk on the front, out of sight, which would allow this desk to be built in place. Not requiring 2 or 3 people to try and move it into place after assembly. Fifth: You should have used a 90⁰ plug for the wall. Rather than the plug sticking out, forcing the desk further from the wall. Yes, sometimes that small distance is crucial. Just remember, if you add a second power supply, make sure 1 is 90⁰ down the other 90⁰ up, left or right. Sixth: You should use actual 4" pull handles. This would allow people the opportunity to buy different styles, colors or to use matching pulls on other furniture. Very very simple fix. Seventh: The drawer rails need to be made so when you screw them down, they dont move up or down, preventing the draws from being lop-sided. Lastly!! It would require very very little effort to design this desk so you can put the long end left or right. Or reverse the direction of the elbow. That all I got!! Other than I am unable to get it in place at the moment, the desk seems solid. May consider adding more color options. Or not. I am looking forward to getting it in place and setting everything up. ... show more

    • Do not get!
This was an awful desk and thank goodness I could locate a handyman to put it together. Once you take out all the pieces, some missing it is a true disaster. It is very cheap looking and it is already ruined after trying to wipe off the desk on the white drawers. They are cardboard and it makes water stains. So very disappointed, if it wasnt so much trouble to take everything apart and box it up I would return it. Shame on those who are selling this at all. ... show more
