Of the hundreds of Amazon purchases I've done over the years, I'm not one to leave reviews. I do however I feel like I should leave a review of this wonderful desk, namely due to the high quality, especially at this price point. This isn't some "cheap" piece of crap furniture we sometimes expect when ordering things online. It far exceeded my expectations. It appears exactly as pictured along with the correct dimensions specified. It looks every bit as good in person if not better. It is very functional with the shelves and drawers and it is plenty big enough for our two monitors, desktop computer,, printer, etc. The black surface/white desk looks super nice in our office. What impressed us the most was the quality. It is VERY sturdy and VERY well built. Yes, assembly took some time, but it was very easy to assemble nonetheless. It took time only because there are a lot of pieces and hardware due to it being very built, sturdy and designed. The instructions were easy to follow. It was very well packaged and protected with lots of styrofoam. I imagine it would be difficult to get damaged during shipping. It has strong connectors, bolts and screws and the wood is pretty heavy and thick. The desk surface is some kind of durable, washable heavy thick (plastic?) on top of wood. Before buying this we looked at some office furniture in person at a popular "office store" that was on sale, but they were still expensive and didn't seem like that good of quality. I am really glad we didn't end up buying any of those pieces as this one is better built and a LOT less expensive than what we would of bought at the "office store". Again, for the price, I really wasn't expecting too much but our expectations were far exceeded. ... show more

For the price this is a great desk. There were a lot of pieces but it was easy to assemble thanks to the instructions. It’s sturdy enough to hold my monster size Lian Li evo XL and 45” monitor like a pro. I also love the L-shape fit for space saving.

The desk is beautiful and VERY sturdy. Definitely put it together where you want it. It’s too heavy to move after. I know sometimes furniture bought online can have dings or knicks but this desk had none. No missing pieces during assembly either. I bought this desk as a Christmas gift. Unfortunately there were issues with shipping, none of which was the sellers fault. I was so worried it wouldn’t get to me by Christmas. The desk is beautiful put together, however the finish on mine was peeling. There are multiple knicks and scratches on mine. Certain areas, glue shows and the parts don’t meet perfectly, so it looks cheap in those areas. Many of the predrilled holes were too big and the manufacturer did not supply wood glue. Perfect desk for my college student. Study, thicker wood materials. Picture directions only were ok, but having written instructions would be better for people who don't have assembly or woodworking knowledge.
