I live in the suburbs of L.A., so there aren't a whole lot of stores selling boat anchors in my neck of the woods. Still, I was a little hesitant to order a boat anchor from Amazon, not knowing exactly what the size and quality was going to be. My fears were assuaged, however, when the package arrived promptly at my doorstep with a shiny new vinyl covered anchor inside. This thing can hold my 11-foot inflatable with 3 passengers, a motor, and a heavy battery box without issue. In fact, it's probably overkill. If this thing gets caught, be prepared to tug like your life depended on it. I'm not going to deduct a star for that, though, considering it's just doing what it's supposed to do. Just remember to get some really sturdy rope and chain or you might end up leaving it behind on your next trip. ... show more
