I'm trying to limit my gear weight and bulk. So a smaller anchor is very nice. I will update this review after some decent use.

    • Worked but only for a little while
I bought this to anchor a 4' x 6' inflatable floating dock in the lake. It is not anywhere near as heavy as a kayak. As another reviewer stated, mine also came with a shackle at the end. Bonus right? This item did exactly as I wanted it to do however, the shackle broke or came loose after a few hours and I lost the anchor to the bottom of the lake. The lake was as smooth as it ever has been so it was not rough conditions at all. I know it's less than $20 but I didn't even get a day out of it. ... show more

    • Great product, great design!
The anchor was great for carrying (can be folded and locked for carrying and when for using it opens up and hold firmly by the locking mechanism), it is compact and does the job nicely.

Tiny anchor, but I think it will work if the wind doesn't blow. Have a similar 5 pounder for big wind days.
