Had a similar one for my PS4 Pro. Works great, no issues. The only down side is the PS5 doesn’t play PS5 games directly from the external drive. You need to move them from the drive to the console drive. Besides that, well worth the money and I have no issues with it.

I really like this external drive! It’s a small, quiet handsome device that can function perfectly with a PS5 console. If you plug into the back of your PS5 using a 3.0 USB cord (included) & port. Stop!- If you plug it into the USB in the front it will say that you “cannot format hard drive” since the connection isn’t strong enough running off the 2.0 USB port. If you plug into the back it will function great & you can go to: Storage->USB Extended Storage->Installation Location & you will be set! I have mine where PS5 games go to my internal console memory but everything else mostly PS4 games goes to the external hard drive which is great. 4 TB is a lot of memory & I have close to 80 games on it & I have only 1 TB used out of 4 TB. Transfer time isn’t bad at all, everything transfers in good time, & seems faster then I thought. Make sure any external hard-drive you purchase has the PS License Product seal on it. Apparently this doesn't work so well with the PS5, an internal memory is what's works the best (according to my husband 🤷♀️), however it wonderful for my computer. I had absolutely no issues hooking it up and transferring files.

This hardwire has great storage but while it states it works for ps5 it'll only save ps4 games. Which is great if you don't have a lot of ps5 games. I'll eventually have to get a better hard-drive for ps5 games but this'll help until then. Works great and is fast.

Tons of space for games and can play PS4 games without moving. Does take a long time to move large games, so do it overnight when you aren't using console.

Does not work they way u think it would struggles to set it up kept saying not compatible but I waited too long to send it back keep your money folks….. it’s not the seller! Seller was fine ….. it’s just the product isn’t great
