The kayak is very lightweight and easy to carry to the water alone. Once in the water it paddles smoothly and feels stable without tipping. The aluminum paddle has a good grip and doesn’t get tiring to use. The bright blue color stands out nicely on the water. This is a good starter kayak for kids. It's wide and floats well. My son could flip it, but it required him to try. He was able to climb onto the kayak with ease. The paddle is definitely sized for kids. I appreciate the molded paddle holder. Our five-year-old, bless his heart, has the attention span of a gnat and the coordination of a newborn giraffe. Yet, somehow, this little kayak has turned him into a miniature Jacques Cousteau. It's so stable, I'm pretty sure you could put a Labrador retriever in it and it would still float. The best part? He can actually paddle it himself. We spent an entire afternoon on the lake and he only flipped it once... because he was trying to eat a cheerio that had floated away. 10/10, would recommend for any parent who wants to tire out their kid without having to do all the work. Very durable and uv resistant. Easy to carry/lightweight. Will provide countless hours of exercise and fun for years to come. This is a great kayak to get your little ones started! It isn’t too heavy and it feels very well-built. I’d say it’s perfect for kids in the 6-10 year old range (with supervision of course). Really nice kids size kayak! The blue is so bright and pretty. My kiddo was able to easily get on/off this sit on top kayak. It held her at just over 100lbs but she's short. Floats great.
