Description

SCUBAPRO's new GO Sport fin features a "boot-fit" design, enabling divers who wear boots when giant-striding into cold water or negotiating rocky shore entries to benefit from the proven kicking performance of the original Tester's Choice-awarded "bare-fit" GO fin. Lightweight yet virtually indestructible, this fin is a fast and nimble performer in the water. The blade has been slightly revised from the original; it now provides mounting points to attach skegs that minimize sideslip and maximize stability. The self-adjusting bungee heel strap allows for a versatile fit. The strap also makes it easy to don and doff. The GO Sport is designed to fit in IATA carry- on compliant luggage, making it a great fin for both travel and local diving.

  • Compact, easy to remove
Color: Yellow Size: Small
I bought these for traveling and love that they fit in my carryon. They are heavier than I expected and I’m not sure how I feel about them in stronger currents—they make you work a little harder than split fins, for sure. I love the bungees and will never buy another pair without them. It makes all the difference when having to remove quickly in big swells. Also appreciate that they float. They are very smooth and feel like they’ll last forever, good quality. ... show more

  • ScubaPro Rocks!
Color: Black Size: Large
Bought these to replace some old Mares Quattro fins that my new boots don't fit into very well. These Scubapros are absolutely awesome. They are a couple of inches shorter than the Mares but power is great with frog and flutter kicks, good control especially in confined silty areas, and they're comfortable and easy to don. Theyll be good for travel, but I'm coldwater diving locally and they're great. As with every piece of SP gear I have, top quality! ... show more

  • Great fins for travel or everyday use.
Color: Turquoise Size: X-Large
I am an avid diver in the Pacific Northwest and I like to keep a full gear set in my truck for my more impromptu dives, and considering that kit is always there and not always used, it is preferable that gear set be smaller, lighter, and more compact than my primary gear set. I had been lugging around some much heavier and longer fins, and bought these to replace them as they would fit IN my gear bag, rather than strapped TO it. That was my intended usage for these fins, but after diving them, these have now become my primary fins. They have replaced a set of F1 fins from a well known diving brand, which I have also loved and also featured an elasticated heel strap--a luxury I will never go without, and if you haven't tried I can't recommend enough! These fins are amazingly comfortable and lightweight, with SLIGHTLY positive buoyancy characteristics. (If you let go of them underwater they will float upwards, but just ever so slowly.). I generally dive in a hefty wetsuit rather than dry, and I prefer these fins for wetsuit diving. (In the drysuit, I still prefer a more negative fin.) They work equally well with flutter kicks as frog kicks and I find even though they are a little less powerful than some of my longer, stiffer fins, I generally prefer the more compact blade the Scubapro GO SPORT provides as it is easier to maneuver in tighter spaces and overhead environments, and the power difference that is sacrificed is minimal. My only complaint is a personal one-- When packing, kitting up, and kitting down I have grown accustomed to stowing my smaller accessories like my backup light and my computer in the foot pockets of my fins to keep them safe and from accidentally turning on. That is a no-go with these as the foot pocket has an open toebox and your expensive gear would just fall out. Not a design flaw by any means, just something to be aware of if you also sometimes stow things in your fins. ... show more

  • To me, lacking in power
Color: Blue Size: Large
The only critical comment is they are lower in power than expected. After trying, I sent them back. I like the idea of being able to put them in my carryon, but I normally check a dive bag anyway. I tried 4 different fins. For me, 200 lb. guy that has been Scuba diving 49 years, they were just not enough in mild current. They are better than most dive fins more snorkeling. Also very positively buoyant. ... show more

  • Perfect Travel Snorkel Fins
Color: Black Size: X-Small
Bought these before a week long trip to St. John, USVI. Perfect for snorkeling in the shallows and along the reefs, but they were also comfortable for more vigorous swims. They fit perfectly in my carry on along with my other gear. I wear a women's size 6 and purchased an XS. I wore them with 3mm dive socks, which made for a very comfortable fit, but I had plenty of room if I wanted to upgrade to 5mm. I love that they're light weight enough to float - this is especially useful in the shallows. My fiance bought a different pair of Scuba Pros more geared toward Scuba diving and they're much heavier - I was able to simply float above the reefs where he had to physically keep himself horizontal because his fins were weighing him down. We aren't avid divers/snorkelers (yet), but these fins seem incredibly durable. Even after a full week of snorkeling they still appear unused. Overall I am thrilled with the purchase! ... show more

  • Great lightweight fin
Great lightweight fin for travel. I probably could have sized down. Foot box is big, you need to wear booties which I wanted due to lava beach entry. Love the bungee straps!

  • Light weight, quality fins
Color: Black Size: X-Large
I was a bit concerned about the size after reading reviews about them running big, but took a chance with the XL and was lucky that it worked out. I wear a US men's size 12-13 with a normal width and the XL works for me with 5mm rubber sole booties on. I probably could have gone with a large and been alright too with as big as they are, so if you're an 11-12ish I would definitely go with the L or maybe even an M. Looking at them when they arrived was a bit scary, the foot well looks massive, but my booted foot fits just snug enough that there is no bouncing around inside them when I swim. The bungee strap heel is very easy to use and comfortable, far better than the typical straps like goggles use. Because of how big they are, the heel strap is not particularly tight, but it still holds well and I have not had it slip at all. ... show more

  • Comfortable fins.
Color: Yellow Size: Medium
These fins blow away my Mares Quattro's for comfort. They are way less fatiguing. They feel like a natural extension to my legs. In comparison the Quattro's feel like boards strapped to my ankles. I feel I have plenty of power but with comfort. I wear a size 10 shoe and wear SCUBAPRO heavy duty boots. The size Large is a little loose in the foot pocket for me. I tried the Medium and they were a little too snug. I wear thin neoprene socks to help fill in the foot pocket which works pretty good. My dive buddies love the yellow fins. Easy for them to see me. I think SCUBAPRO makes the best dive gear available. ... show more
