Trust me, I really wanted to love ScubaPro, the name is nifty and it’s endorsed heavily by the gold standard learning course, PADI. I brought this mask to a certification course happy as a clam about it, but immediately and throughout the 3 hours, it fogged up and remained fogged up! I applied anti-fog a dozen times and it was still fogging up. The EZ strap is very easy, so easy, it just keeps adjusting when it’s bumps! And after considering it, once your mask is adjusted, you should never really need to adjust it again. Also, regulators can sort of sit behind your neck and looking up can knock the EZ strap. The experienced instructors kept asking me if my mask was adjusted correctly and it left a line on my face after getting adjusted too tightly. Flooding and clearing the mask wasn’t as easy as it should be. The silicone trim is a bit rigid so flooding it usually means a ton of water and pushing hard to clear. My instructor advised me that the brand used to be much better under previous ownership, and they are very overpriced for the quality nowadays. I went to their dive shop, spent an additional $20 for a Tusa mask with freedom film and I’m never looking back. A mega upgrade! Didn’t fog ONCE! And the Tusa silicone was so soft and flexible flood/clearing was a breeze. Sad to say, ScubaPro might be considered SnorkelPro here on out in my eyes. I won’t return the mask, but I might offer it to an unknowing friend if they need to borrow a mask. Go to a local dive shop instead. ... show more

    • I love everything about this but my nose.

I bought this one as it seemed to be perfect for me. I just wish I would have tested it out before diving with it. I actually ended up getting bruising on the bridge of my nose as the mask was a little too tight. I was able to adjust it and "make it work" but could have been much better if the nose spot was a little bigger. I decided to not return the mask because I like it so much, I've figured out a little gel around my nose fixes the issue. Every other feature is awesome. We were getting certified to 100ft so we had to do a lot of mask related tasks, flood the mask, take it off, clear it and the like. I've done these task before but haven't had as easy of a time like I did with this one. Very easy to adjust underwater. The view portal is great as I felt I had decent peripheral vision and the lens was clear. Like any mask it'll take a while to get it to not fog. By the end of our week of diving, 11 total dives, it was working awesome. ... show more
