  • Great pants!
Size: Medium Color: Pewter
I bought these pants because I recently had a baby via C-section, and the idea of wearing tight waistbands is still a bit too much to handle. When I received these yesterday, I was initially worried that they wouldn't be warm enough, since we're in the single digits here and the pants seem a little thin. They are actually deceptively warm, made from that kind of material that perfectly keeps out the cold, and the waistband is deliciously flexible. You grab each string and pull outward, then tie it when it's to your desired tightness. The only complaint I have is that they are a bit long (I'm 5'2" and purchased a size Medium), but over boots, it doesn't matter. These are a great value for the money. Don't be put off by the fact that they are scrubs because they look just like regular slacks (FYI: I did buy gray and brown, so these probably look more scrub-like in green or blue). EDIT: I just picked up another pair of Small Petite to see if they might fit me better (I am now 142 lbs. since the baby). They fit like a glove! Not too long, like the mediums are that I picked up, so no need for cuffing the legs. And I didn't even really have to tighten the drawstring. They fit like I had already tried them on. Good stuff. I love these pants! (Though I picked up the white ones this time, and it looks like I'm ready for a vacation in the Hamptons - all I'm missing is a visor. So, needless to say, the white is not entirely my style, but the comfort beats the color.) ... show more

  • My favorite line of scrubs, they come in tall!!!
Love this line by cherokee, no struggle to get tops on and off and don't have to get huge sizes that make me feel like i'm swimming in just for ease of getting on/off. Color is very rich and pretty but not overly striking (good thing). Well made, is comfortable but shapely. I am 6ft tall and slender with small ribcage and waist but larger bust size and it fit very well and was not tight across the chest or too loose anywhere else. I love this line bc its one of the few that offers tall and I need it, having a 37" inseam. The fabric is soft and stretchy and wears well. Can iron, but resists wrinkles. Well made. Great price on amazon and can get it way faster than the weeks it takes my local medical supply store. Between this line and white cross marvella (canadian brand) I will never buy another kind of scrub. The fabric is hardy, I have a lot of scrabbling patients between small mammals, rabbits and lizards with crazy overgrown nails, rambunctious cats and dogs, and boisterous and filthy cows goats and horses. These scrubs stand up to it all and constant washing, maintain the color, and all the pet hair comes right off, I don't find any residual when I take them out of the washer. I will only line dry or tumble dry no heat bc I don't want to risk losing length to shrinking, so I can't be of any help in judging shrink factor using medium/high heat in a dryer. ... show more

  • Talls are very long
Size: Medium Tall Color: Navy
I have to wear Cherokee scrubs in Navy for my job as a vet tech. I originally got the unisex drawstring cargo pants in medium-tall. They fit OK but are not ideal for someone with curves. I have also tried the women's drawstring pant with flaired legs that have slits in medium-tall. They were too big & no matter how much I tightened them, they always loosened up & would slip down so that if I had to bend over, my undies would show. (I am a vet tech & have to be able to bend over & even sometimes crawl around on the floor.) The flaired leg with the slit made the leg opening so big that it engulfed my feet & I'd tread on them. I had to have them altered to get rid of the slit. Now, I am trying these pants. So far, they are comfortable. They fit my curves very well. My measurements are 30" waist, 40" hips, and at 5'9, I normally need a 34" inseam. I believe these are supposed to have a 33" inseam. I haven't measured the inseam but they are VERY long. The flaired leg also makes them engulf my feet, so they drag on the floor. I like the cargo pocket for keeping my cell phone handy. These don't seem to slide down when I sit or bend over. I do wish they came up a little higher on my waist. Overall, I like them and will probably get more. ... show more

  • Comfy, cheaper than Dickies, and just as useful.
Size: 5X-Large Plus Color: Navy
I ordered two pairs of tops and bottoms, same brand, same color, same "model line" so to speak. I haven't needed to bust into the second pair, because I wear them only twice a week so far, but they fit exactly as expected. I ordered up a size so I would have plenty of bending/squatting/lunging/stretching room without fear of tearing. So while they are baggy on me, that's exactly how I wanted it. I rated them "fit as expected" as I expected them to be bigger, but your mileage may vary. The pants have the two main lap pockets that are standard, and then on the right leg, it has another side pocket, with two pen/tool pockets on top of that. It also has a nifty "belt loop" thingy on that side pocket, which can be useful for a pen, or a clip on hand sanitizer or whatnot. The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is that the elastic isn't a bit sturdier. It has elastic in the waist, and a drawstring waist as well, so it isn't like a pair of momjeans where the elastic is stitched down in the back only, which is nice, but the elastic used isn't very...Useful? There's enough elastic that it barely stretches at all, and therefore doesn't really add to the effort of holding the pants up. Might as well had not included it. I've included a picture of the elastic itself, so you can see it. As I said, I ordered a size up, so I may just be delusional and if worn on someone who actually fits these properly the elastic would then actually be of use, so I am not marking them down for it at all. I prefer a drawstring waist over elastic anyway, so either way, I am more than happy overall. Super comfy, super useful. And cheaper than Dickies. Very happy. Would definitely recommend. ... show more

  • Nice scrub pants, but they run large
Size: Small Color: Turquoise
I ordered these in my usual size but they were much too big. Returned them for a size smaller and they fit great. I like the large pockets and that I can fit my cell phone in the leg pocket.
