  • Great item to help you pack lighter
Bought this in advance of a trip where packing light will be critical. The scrubba bag arrived and we tested it with 3 pairs of socks.... water got dirty, soapy and seemed to do a good job washing the socks in the pre-trip test batch. The clear window is great to see the rinse water, wash water and allow you to adjust. I did one wash ahead of the trip and have not left on the trip yet but expect this to be a really key part of my packing light. Well built, durable, good size, no leaks or smells... easy to use, good scrubbing "dots" or nubs on the inside. Great idea, good product and I would recommend. ... show more

  • Lots of travel, many uses.
The media could not be loaded. When I say we travel a LOT, I mean we’re home less than 13 consecutive weeks a year. Most of our travel involves planes and cruises, so weight and space matter when you’re doing this kind of travel. Back in 2019, I bought a Scrubba and we set off on a drag across the Southwest, on our way from Texas to Northern California. We did ALL of our laundry for 2 persons on a 4 week trip in the Scrubba. At that time I think I used some kind of pod for detergent. Since then the Scrubba has gone transatlantic and transpacific on cruises (when I didn’t have free laundry status), and without fail, our Scrubba has done us well. I’ve transitioned to dissolving detergent sheets and allow a “soak” cycle every load (20 mins to 2 hrs-dependent upon the FUN we’re having). There’s nothing wrong with my old Scrubba still but the older valve is a real trick to open so I’m very excited for the upgraded twist valve I now have. Getting set to take a two week long run on a Caribbean cruise and will report on her performance in comparison to the OG. The fastest method we’ve found for really getting the water wrung out is first twist/squeeze, and then roll up in excess towels or even quick dry towels. A basic 550 cord hanging line (tiny loop knots and hanging clips with pinchers-bought them also on Amazon) and some carabiners or strategic looping, often across the cabin, completes the rig. When rolling up wet clothes in towels, be sure to use the flanks of the towel folded in on the clothes, roll tightly and compress the rolled towels with body weight. Note that the extra towels are in hotels or on cruise ships; our quick dry towels have been used when no alternatives were present. Now about load size: I typically can wash 1-2 pairs of pants, 1-2 workout outfits (shorts & tank top), 4-5 pairs of socks, a bra or two, or a dress, or ladies outfit. Over time we have learned what works best for stain removal, vs everyday wear/use. I really love using the Scrubba with the dissolving laundry sheets. Everything smells so clean and fresh afterwards but not heavily perfumed. I’ve included a side by side photo of the OG green Scrubba with the brand new black Scrubba. I will update in December or after New Year’s depending on how busy we get. Another 4 month trip will start on New Year’s, and I’ve got packing to do! PS. We’re retired Veterans living our best life while stretching our costs, and acting kindly towards the planet and oceans (as we are able). ... show more

  • Buy a dry bag instead
It works as advertised but you’re better off buying a standard dry bag for a fraction of the price.

  • Money saver on travel
This has now paid for itself 5x. I go on work trips all over the world pretty regularly and this is a worth it purchase. The instructions aren't always clear. A laundry load for me - 1 pants, 2 shirts, 2 underwear, 2 socks. It fits in there no issue. I put on TV and roll it with my feet for 20 ish minutes. Rinse repeat 2x. I have clean clothes to dry in an hour. ... show more

  • Perfect for Camping or Travel – Love This Wash Bag!
Cool little invention! I took this on a mountain excursion—close enough to a town, but I didn’t want to rely on a laundromat if I didn’t have to. I loved this wash bag. The instructions were clear: fill hot water to the line, add 4–6 items (depending on size), add your soap (less is more), fold down the bag, hook it closed, and let out the air. Then press the bag down and start “mushing.” I mushed for about 4 minutes, drained the dirty water, refilled with clean water, and mushed another 4 minutes before hanging my clothes to dry. Yes, it’s a bit of work, but the convenience was amazing. I’m so glad I have this for camping and hiking—highly recommend! ... show more

  • Effective, but not worth the money
I have used this wash bag on several trips. It works, but does not seem extreamely durable. Getting the bag properly sealed is difficult, but once you master that, it works pretty well. Great for t shirts, socks, underwear and that sort of thing. Don't expect bigger bulky items will work well with it. I tried to wash a pair of blue jeans with limited success. On cruises I did have great luck washing smaller items. I'm just wondering how long it will last, and there are other brands out there that cost a lot less and seem to do the job just as well. My friends had another brand that did the same thing as this one but cost a lot less. Had the price been around $35 I would of given it a higher star rating. ... show more

  • Great Strong Scrubba Bag, Yet Lightweight and Compact!
Awesome product, I have used it already on several journeys and though I am rough and tough on products, it is super strong (yet lightweight and compact) and is ready to keep on going with me! Love having fresh and clean clothes even if I am travelling for weeks.

  • Meh!
Underwhelming. The bag is okay and the idea is fine but meh. If you are going to hand wash, just hand wash. Used while off-grid. So, put hot water, soap and clothes, seal and roll back and forth sounds easy. But… you will have to use a hand to hold it open, remember to burp the air out, and roll it around-but not where it can’t be punctured. Then drain water and rinse a few times. Remember you have to hold it up and open while swishing and making sure water is clear. Then find a place to set upside down so inside dries out, then clean off the outside (because you have been rolling it around). Then roll up to store. Much easier and less water to use a collapsible bucket. And one less thing to pack. ... show more
