The scrubba does a good job of cleaning very dusty dirty clothes. Three loads filled my entire drying rack. This is a great option for maintaining laundry between trips to the laundromat and for being on the road. The valve does leak water but it was fine to work with in the shower bed.

We were preparing for a cruise. Cruises are really the type of travels we usually do and so there were some uncertainties about how best to get our clothes cleaned so we could pack lighter for more days. The boat had service, but I was my clothes in cold and hang dry most things to prevent shrinking. So, when I found this and after watching the reviews I decided to buy it even though the cost was a little higher than I would have liked. When I received it I was happy to find that while the washer is light, it is made of a durable material and turned out to be a handy device. We used this to wash our extra swim wear and the pieces of clothing that I didn't want sent to laundry service. We also camp for 5+ days and this will come in handy to clean key pieces of clothes. It is so light weight that I would include it in a backpack for a multi-day backpack trip. I paired it with laundry sheets (no need for liquid) and it even impressed my skeptical husband.

An excellent product for hand washing (I even use it at home and not only when I travel) put soap or detergent and then water and massage for 5 minutes and according to the instructions. I would say that within 10 minutes maximum the entire operation of washing is finished and it comes out really good and clean. I used it on a trip abroad and it saved me money from doing laundry there

Does what it says, but I found it easier just to wash stuff in the sink anyway, especially if washing more than one load of clothes. This was kind of a pain the behind to use.

I bought this because I was only packing one-week of clothes for for a multi-week trip to Europe and didn't want to do my laundry in a hotel sink or shower again. I have my doubts about their claim that 3-minutes in the Scrubba is as good as a machine, but it was definitely more efficient and effective than doing laundry in a sink. I'm not sure the washboard nubs actually do much, though, because the clothes never rotate within the Scrubba; it almost seems like it would be just as effective without them. The Scrubba almost, but not quite, stays standing up once filled with water; it would be a nice feature if it did stay up, so it didn't fall over and spill out the water while you were reaching for the soap. The air valve is finicky, though; it is easy enough to open, but figuring out just how much rotation is needed to get it to stay closed is mildly annoying.

I'd been eyeing the scrubba bag for a long time. It is EXACTLY what I needed to do small loads of delicates and air dry them. I fill up the bag in the bathtub and do two rounds of cold water to rinse, and the whole process feels like it's doing its job because the water runs clear by the end and the clothes appear clean! Like a few of the other reviews, I'm a little skeptical about the texture doing a whole lot, but it's a fantastically made bag to fill up with clothes, detergent and water, swooshing them about, and rinsing the whole thing efficiently. It hasn't paid for itself yet but in a few more weeks I'll have done enough loads for it to be worth it. A great product for all you freaks who want to wash your clothes by hand and hang them out to dry.
