    • You won't be able to use the extender bar with this kit.
There is a piece missing. The extender bar ends with a female end & it needs to be male to attach to the socket. I purchased this set for a one-time job and cannot use it because the socket I need has to be on an extender to reach the screw. I can see the piece needed on some of the other sets - but without it, this set isn't usable. (It IS usable & fine for someone else with other needs. I could use all of the bits and sockets IF I didn't need the extender.) I'd recommend one of the other small sets on this page - if they've got the bar they do also have the male-to-male piece that will let you use the extender bar. Note - The extender bar is stuck onto another piece - and even the guys I work with couldn't get them apart or I might have been able to get it together that way. ... show more

    • It is a good set for the price. Dont expect too much!!
My Use case: A small automotive repair. Small occasional home repairs. Pros: - Price. - Compact set with lot of bits. - Comes in a box. Cons: - The ratchet itself is decent quality. - The screw bits are soft. After little use you could see they do not hold up very well. I suspect with somewhat stripped screws you will have a very hard time. ---- About 6 month UPDATE ------ Since my initial review I left the item in it's case in a dry closet and returned back to it recently. I noticed that several bits had a thin film of rust on them. So I am changing my review to 2 stars. ... show more

With a product like this it's kinda potluck what you get. I had to exchange one set because all the sockets kept falling off the adapter. The exchanged set worked perfectly. On the whole it's a nice little set for the price, admittedly there's better quality to be had but if you just need something for some occasional DIY you can't go far wrong. Amazon will exchange straight away before recieving the faulty one, my replacement came the same day I did the return so take them up on that. ... show more

Purchased this for around the house projects. I like the price and the accessories, I just don't like the cheap feel of the handle for the larger driver. It wobbles a bit and the extender piece falls out sometimes. Switching from forward to reverse on the handle is not as smooth as a Sata ratcheting screwdriver. This would not be a bad thing to just have in the car for emergencies. Everyday use I would go with another brand or item. ... show more

I like to call this the budget ratchet set..you can find the name brand like dewalt ratchet set at $40+... I literally only needed to use only 2 bit set from this set so I decided to go with this budget set and I am pretty impress with the price and quality. So far no stripping or rounding on the tools yet they are holding up quite well.. If anything breaks at any point within the next few months of use I will re-update and If i don't update you know it is still holding up. :) ... show more

Nice little screwdriver set. I originally bought this torque set because I was changing out some speakers in my car, but it definitely has more uses with the different variety of screw/socket tips. It came in a nice compact case, that way I hopefully won't be losing tips all over the place, but as far as durability, I guess we will have to put it to the test of time. My 5 star rating is based on Harry Homeowner light chores/duties around the house. Didn't buy this set with heavy contractor/construction work in mind. ... show more

I bought this kit for my new Polaris RZR to carry on board during rides. It has all the sockets and other fittings in one handy kit. The only possible drawback I see is the "stubby ratchet" is more like a ratchet screwdriver and doesn't provide the leverage of a conventional ratchet.

Bought this one to have ready-to-go toolset in my car. Rather shaky, most likely bits will die after several uses, but that's what you get for the fair price, so it's ok. The case itself, on the other hand, is great!
