I searched awhile to find a reasonable price, locking 4 drawer filing cabinet. This one is so lightweight that the FedEx driver carried it to our door without the help of a dolly! It is perfect for my needs. Did come with keys. I just haven't needed to lock it. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 for sturdiness is I didn't want people to think it's a heavy, thick one like you find in offices at businesses. I do have my printer on top of it.     • Great Filing Cabinet
The filing cabinet came fully assembled which was important to me. It was well packed with no dents. It is the perfect size for what I need and can hold a lot of files. The drawers open and shut easily which makes it easy to use. The seller was very helpful when the file cabinet was not delivered by FEDEX on the expected day when I contacted him very upset. He reached out to FEDEX and assured me that I would receive it the next day and I did. I will buy from this seller again. ... show more

    • BETTER THAN I EXPECTED OR HOPED FOR!!!!
Received this file cabinet yesterday and this morning got it unpacked, moved into place and filled it up!! I was honestly expecting something sort of flimsy and hard to work with. VERY MUCH THE OPPOSITE!!! One lock (key included) at the top of the cabinet locks all four drawers. Each drawer has a little "thumb lock" you have to engage to release the drawer before opening (safety). Each drawer is 21 inches front to back. When the drawer fully opens -- 17 inches is accessible and 4 inches remains in the cabinet (but still usable space). I ordered the "Putty" color and it's very neutral light taupe/beige with no yellow or grey tones. The cabinet was packed EXTREMELY well -- I was worried about all the negative reviews about cabinets that arrived damaged. Maybe the seller took note, because my cabinet arrived INSIDE a cardboard box with Styrofoam protecting stress points inside and outside of the box. Then the whole thing was snugly shrink wrapped in plastic. No damage noted after I got it unpacked. Once unpacked, it's completely ready to use. I am more than happy with this cabinet and would order another one in a heartbeat... which I just might have to do!! ... show more

I agree with SnoozeBob's 10/14/2018 review. But mine didn't arrive "snugly shrink rapped in plastic", it only had a plastic sheet protecting the top. No scratches, but the bottom right side was dented, but not bad enough to return it. Looks like the delivery man may have used is foot against the side to move it.     • The right choice.
After many months of researching filing cabinets, I purchased this one based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. It arrived on schedule, packaged well with styrofoam in the box for protection during shipping, and ready to use, no need for file hangers. Comes with 4 drawers and 2 keys for the lock and is sturdy enough for home use. The only confusion was it was titled as a Scranton brand and I received one called Hirsch. None the less it's fine. It looks exactly the same. I'm happy with it and recommend it. ... show more

This arrived with a dent on one edge, even though the box was undamaged. Weird. Not bad enough to make it worth returning, even if I could figure out how to return something this big. Otherwise a good cabinet.

    • Arrived in perfect shape.
This 4-drawer file cabinet had been packaged so well that it had no dents, no scratches, and the drawers had not been twisted, so they opened smoothly and without friction. I like the high sides on the drawers so Pendaflex folders can be used without needing special inserts to hold them up. Very satisfactory altogether. ... show more

    • Came damaged
Top drawer inside of the delivery box was bent beyond repair. There was also a large dent in the back as if someone had kicked it. Box was not damaged, so I am not sure how in the world the top drawer on the very inside got so mangled. Very disappointing to receive the item in such a state. Only the tops and sides of the delivery box were padded with styrofoam. There was also some shifting so the drawers do not line up if you are looking at the item from the top down.
