I have owned several slingshots over the years and always enjoyed the fun of target practice. When I read about SimpleShot I was interested to see how these devices have progressed. This thing is a blast and a seriously accurate slingshot. Within the first 50 shots I was routinely hitting a 3" wide pipe from about 35'. The biodegradable practice beads are great and eliminates the need to recover. Easy to assemble and includes an extra band. I watched some online videos to help determine the best option to assemble the band (two options). Both are great although I like the side assembly best as pictured. You could definitely bird hunt with this based on the accuracy. I have set up some yard targets and we all challenge each other. I would definitely recommend this. Comfortable to shoot, lightweight, excellent quality and very accurate. Best $50.00 I have spent in a good while.

Great product! First impression -I was skeptical at first after reading about the "flimsy" plastic band fasteners before I purchased this product. I decided to get it as it had the most versatile band mounting options (over the top, or around the sides.) After installing the bands I realized that the only way the previous reviewer could have broken them is if he over-tightened the plastic and stripped it out. This can be done if you are fearful of the bands slipping and tend to really crank of the screw past the point where it can't screw in any further. I found that moderate tension holds the bands perfectly without slippage and still not stripped plastic. They manufacturer even puts in an owners manual and installation guide for installing the bands correctly. To me this added a professional touch and value to my purchase. Shooting Session - I was shooting 3/8" steel ball ammo and within minutes I was shooting 1-2" groups at 10 yards with this product. Given that I have only been shooting a week, this is realistic for me. I am a male standing at 6'2" and 250lbs. While the large grip didn't feel uncomfortable, I liked shooting with the smaller handle more. The product did feel like it was made with a high amount of quality control as there were not any noticable machining marks on the fiberglass. While shooting, the ergonomics felt great when at full draw and the bands and pouch were great. I will say that after about 400 rounds or so, the bands popped off the pouch. They didn't break, the string that held it on just came untied. All I did was get a piece of string and retie it and it was good and shooting again. It was just a small hiccup that was definitely not a huge deal. The bands are still holding up well and I am loving this slingshot!

This this is amazing! I have a very average build for a guy and this things size and weight are both perfect, the grip is slighty lacking just because it's plastic but plenty good. Although the performance is dependent on you. The ease of use is great and there is so much support on the simpleshot websight. The only one I like the look of is the black one and appears to be of extreme quality. Don't go with one of those gimmicky ones with the sights. Just go with this and watch some YouTube videos on how to properly shoot and it will be so much better. It took me like 30 mins and I could hit almost anything the size of a gallon milk jug.

Awesome slingshot, fits great in the hand, but the set up is kinda difficult, make sure to measure out your bands so you get a good, even fit. After about 30 shots my bands broke, luckily I have another set of bands so I’ll have to throw those ones on. I’m no professional, still learning the ropes but all in all, I would say it’s a good slingshot. (Buy extra bands tho)

Knowing how to shoot a slingshot is most of the battle. I have had several slingshots over the years and even bought another one on Amazon thinking it would make me better, it didn't. I was not until I did an internet search and watched a video on how to shoot a slingshot I realized the error of my ways. I highly suggest you do the same before you buy another slingshot. You will save yourself time and money. There are tons of different slingshots out there. Ones with round rubber tubes and ones with flat bands. I find flat rubber bands tend to be more accurate by the way. Some sligshots even have springs added to them that look cool but do they really add more power? Not really sure. Anyway, after researching many different slingshots I settled on the one I thought was best. Don't take my word for it, do your own research. I even bought those darts for another slingshot I have to go fhishing with but thank God it looked a little sketchy to me. The part of the dart that comes in contact with the rubber bands or leather pouch had sharp edges so I never used them. I have since seen those same darts stuck in people's hands. Fyi...Never use them in your slingshot!!! Arrows are better, safer and, much more accurate then the darts. After much research I settled on this particular slingshot for many reasons. For one reason was the way the bands attached to the slingshot. They were easy to change out and they could be mounted over the top or around the sides. I find around the sides better to aid in aiming. The second reason was the body allowed the user to use multiple hand positions to find the one that best suits them. Third was the company themselves. They have many different products relating to slingshots and they are not from some other country. They are a US company. Anyway, after learning how to shoot I had no problem hitting a one inch target at 25 feet in no time with over 90% accuracy. I am now shooting at 50 feet and would say I am 60 to 70% accurate on the one inch target. Practice makes perfect folks. If you do not get out there and push yourself to get better you never will. I was in the military and shot a lot and I do mean a lot. Thousands of rounds I shot through my rifle and my pistol. The part that I am most proud of is my marksmanship with the 9mm Beretta. At 100 yards and with 90 to 95% accuracy, I could hit a 12" target. Believe me or not, I don't care. My point is this. I fyour not going to put in the time to make yourself better at something then you will never get better. You see, after a while you develope what is called a natural line of sight. It is like muscle memory. After a while I could just raise I rifle not even using the sights and could hit a man sized target under 100 yards. Believe me, comes in really handy when doing CQB. Learning to shoot a slingshot is no different and trust me when I say this. If you put in the time you too will develope that muscle memory and know exactly what I am talking about. I originally bought the clay ammo but they only last so long. I now use a white sheet as a back drop to catch the steel shot I am using so I can reuse the ammo over and over again. I have really enjoy shooting my slingshot. So much so I prefer it over going to the range and spending $100 or more on ammo. So folks, that is my honest review and I hope it helps.
