Do NOT buy this tape!! It does not stick, not even to itself. This was the worst tape. Update!! After speaking to a customer service representative they sent me replacement tape. My remodelers introduced me to painter's tape. I use it a lot for posting/ displaying signs around the house (I host events featuring strangers from the internet often). My most recent project involved using a blacklight to identify areas a visiting cat had sprayed (tape its borders, then Natures Miracle, then Electrolyx carpet clean). I've yet to have it pull off my paint but (1) a competetor's brand, in yellow color, did bleed through the color of a blue Sharpie when left up for several months, and (2) I noticed the backing got rather sticky during my tape-the-Natures-Miracle carpet week (both of which are off-label uses for the product).     • Great for labeling freezer containers too
I use this more for labeling plastic freezer containers than as painter's tape. You need to put the label on when the item is at room temperature or it doesn't stick very well, but if you do that, it sticks until you're ready to throw the container in the dishwasher again.

Really like this product and it's a must to have on hand. Especially great to use on taping things to outside siding (such as birthday congratulation signs) because it doesn't leave adhesive residue. this product is great for several projects I have...most recently acting as removal labels (outside jar) on fermented veggies. Because the tape is easy to remove, no need to worry about the paper label pieces clogging up the dishwasher. I've used the tape on freezer items with the same successful results. We used this to make a chalk mosaic on the driveway. Doesnt stick great to concrete on a hot day. We also used it to make "laser beams" to jump over or duct under in the hallway. Fun use with no mess with kids. Easy for kids to pull and rip.
