Pretty good helmet
Been using this helmet almost daily for about a month now. Some points to note: * Helmet was tight for a day or so but has broken in nicely. Fits very comfortably and is by far the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. My head size is about 7 1/4 and I have an oval type head. I got a medium and it's perfect. My wife is about a 6 3/4 oval and she got the small, which is a perfect fit after break in. *It's still pretty chilly for my morning commute up at 6000 feet in the mountains and the helmet is warm. I ride city to open highway every day for about a 60 mile roundtrip commute. Has a collar around the bottom of the helmet that keeps the cold air from coming in and works really well. Was 38 for one of the morning rides and stayed warm doing 65. 80 in the afternoon and didn't feel like I was going to overheat. *Cruising at 65-70 there isn't a whole lot of noise. I don't feel like I need ear protection. *Visors are really good. Good clarity and no notable fogging so far. Started to fog on me one day but then I opened the front vent and zero fogging after that. Visor stays in place with the cracked position which gives you more air in slower traffic yet still protects you from being hit in the face by bugs and such. However I had a hitchiker honeybee that almost crawled in through the crack lol. That could have been interesting..... *Weight is good. I don't feel like the helmet is too heavy. Used to ride a full face Harley helmet. It was quite a bit heavier and much less comfortable. *The modular flip up full face portion is really good. It is easy to use and makes putting the helmet on and taking it off much easier than a traditional full face. Stays put in the fixed positions. No wonkiness at all. Overall I really like this helmet. Bought one for me and one for the wife and she likes hers too. These helmets are a bit pricey, but you really do get a lot for your money and I think to get a better helmet you would have to spend 700 or more. For us it was worth the money. Excellent helmet!!! ... show more

Beautiful helmet great buy
As I mentioned before about another scorpion EXO helmet I bought the pictures on Amazon do this helmet no justice whatsoever. It depicts both helmets and multiple other helmets as having a matte or satin finish but it's very glossy like superb clear coat. So if you like shiny helmets I highly recommend this one it went through my attention to this helmet was the colors I love the high Vis and black. I did a lot of research and found scorpion EXO at the top of the quality list and although many would probably consider the same budget by $330 I consider it great bang for the buck. Scorpion has a very good reputation for being a good quality safe helmet and in most of the videos that I saw it came out on top. What negative review I saw here and there was the same thing about how the sun visor vibrates at higher speeds about 75 mph and higher I personally have not gotten the chance to find out as when I found this helmet and ordered it I received it while my bike is still in the shop LOL but I did remove the visor just to do it and the helmet looks great without it as in it doesn't look like something has been removed and missing but for blocking the Sun and for aesthetics I like the sun visor on there and unless it shakes and vibrates really badly I'm going to leave it on. By the way check out the Amber drop-down lids I bought at another motorcycle accessory shop because Amazon does not offer this or at least I could not find it but for $36 I bought it to replace the tinted drop-down list as I like to ride with the front lens up to get the fresh air and I can still use the drop-down lids for facial protection and still get air flow. If you like gloss and you like the colors going by this helmet I promise you will not be dissatisfied with the fitment. ... show more

Runs small, quality helmet
Color: Topographic 2 Red/White/Blue Size: X-Large
Be advised measure yourself and go by the sizing chart. I consistently wear a large in other brands and I required the XL. The quality and clarity of the large field of view shield is impressive! It is thick material with a large thumb tab on both sides for easy use with gloves regardless of R/L hand dominance. I usually always go with a solid color unless it’s an off road helmet. I went with the Red/White/Blue Topographic 2 scheme and it is a beautiful helmet. The graphics coloring and lines are very good quality. The modular chin bar is smooth and easy to use, the off road visor is easily removable and has blocking plates to cover the hardware while running it without the visor. The drop down sun visor is easy to use and has a smooth action. I was excited to discover the helmet has D-rings for the securement and therefore can be precisely adjusted to comfort, and I know it’s secure. If you prefer the quick release mechanism, then go with another helmet. I love the quick release on my other helmets but I’m always aware that there is a potential for failure….All in all this helmet hits above its price point! I’ve had helmets ranging from Fulmer to AGV and I am impressed with the quality and comfort of this helmet! The pictures don’t do the helmet proper justice, this is beautiful helmet. ... show more

Go up 1 size for fitting
Color: Solid Matte Black Size: Large
I liked how fast the shipping was. It is a tight fit for my head. I went by the “sizing chart” and ordered what I thought would be the perfect fit. The issue I have is the fit is pretty tight around the forehead area, and also around the mouth. Don’t get me wrong, this helmet does exactly what I need it to do, but if you go by the “sizing chart” and the measurements tell you you need a “Large”, I would recommend that these areas will be tight (around forehead and mouth). The Matte Black is awesome and so is the comfort of the helmet (for the most part). The “road noise” isn’t cancelled out, but my head felt a steady breeze while riding, and the helmet is pretty light in weight. Earbuds would fit too. This helmet is very “user friendly” I enjoy the modular aspect of this helmet, and that it’s user “ready” for the comms. The road noise “would probably be” reduced if you install the Bluetooth that is offered when you “purchase” the helmet. I did not purchase the comms just so that is known for people on the market for a new lid replacement. I live in Southern California, so the weather isn’t as extreme here. My head didn’t get overheated while riding midday afternoon, nor did it feel the cold of the night after 10pm. I really like the (included) sun visor and it helps with road glare or eye fatigue from the sun. Overall, I am happy with this and will give the helmet some time to shape to my head. Hopefully the tightness around my forehead will loosen up overtime. It is worth the money and shipping was extremely fast. The build quality is superb in my opinion as well. The liner is removable. Also, it comes with instructions for daily use, and for the communication system that can be purchased. I can also wear my shades while riding and it feels more natural. The visor also feels very stable and does provide eye protection from sun glare. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is because of the fitment around my forehead and how close it feels to your chin. ... show more

Best Investment/Saved My Life
I only just bought the helmet 2 months ago. I’ve ridden my whole life and never ever thought I would need a helmet to save it. I unfortunately had a spill after a hog ran across my path so suddenly causing me to react leading to the spill. I got up and dusted myself off. Evaluated for scrapes and any damage to self and motorcycle. Some scrapes and bruising for sure. Thought to myself the fall wasn’t that bad. Until I saw the damages my helmet took on while doing what it was designed to do. Save lives. Protect the computer to our human body. Multiple scrapes and the face shield itself was cracked. Had that been my head and face, I may not be able to leave this review today. Thank you Scorpion for Making a top quality helmet. I’ll definitely be getting another one. ... show more

Quality Helmet, Nice features, Ventilation... meh
Returning to riding after many years away; this is the first convertible helmet I have ever worn, I really like the feature. Snaps down securely and locks in place. Fit my head in accordance with the measurements provided; snug fit as it should be. The inner sun visor can be dropped down for bright sunlight with gloved hand; I have a bit of a big snoz and the sun visor does just touch my nose but not uncomfortable. It does fog up on cold mornings but easy to pop up to pinlocks using either hand. Starting to get warm this week and I don't think the ventilation is going to be adequate in mid-summer. Very happy with color and graphics design; light colored helmets are 10* cooler than black helmets. It is not a quiet helmet, at least not with the visor on. Not terrible but, not quiet. Solid and has the more stringent ECE (European) safety standard (DOT is a very low safety standard and not sufficient protection). ... show more

Nice and quiet for using the cardo system. Good for cold weather, Shield visor absolutely sucks.
Bought this Helmet in April of 2024 and used it to ride 10,000 miles, the continental divide trail. From freezing rain up in Colorado Rockies to 100° degrees in South Texas. Helmet is a lot quieter than some of the other ones out there. Did not really have a problem with fogging up. But it's hard to clean out on the trail. The shield visor vibrates what I absolutely hated about this helmet and the reason I will be going with a different helmet. I had to use gorilla tape to try sturdy up the shield visor. Had to glue on the rubber seal for the visor pretty much right out of the box. Does not have a lot of air flow for those hot days and when riding slow you feel like your overheating. Does well in the cold weather. Opening the front part was always and issue so never really used it cause it would bite itself. Overall it's a decent helmet. ... show more

Great helmet!
First off, this helmet is gorgeous! Just beautiful. I usually wear Large sized helmets and ordered it in Large, but it was crushing my skull with pressure points. I exchanged it to XL and it fit perfect. Two flaws to this beauty though. The worst being that the sun visor slips down randomly. not that often, but enough times to be disappointed by the quality of the helmet, or lack thereof. The second flaw (which is to be expected in all modular helmets) is that it gets pretty noisy above 70mph. But it's not a street helmet so I can't blame it. Those flaws are bearable though. I mean there aren't many ADV helmets that hit all the right points like comfort, modular, sun visor, and of course beautiful colors/graphics/design. I truly love this helmet and wear it every day. Shipping was super fast and exchange was easy and flawless, even though I hate returning/ exchanging due to waste of resources (man power, gas, restocking, etc.) but it really was too small. So on this beautiful helmet I'd probably recommend to get a size up. Oh and it's the latest ECE approved. All in all I highly recommend this gorgeous helmet. ... show more
