I purchased this dress to wear on a nice dinner on our vacation. I tried it on (standing only) and absolutely LOVED it. It was so comfortable and flattering. I am a size 20 and have an average size bust for a plus sized gal (44 DD). On the day of our dinner I was so excited to wear my dress. I put it on and we left. As soon as I sat in the car I realized I had a problem. The entire front of the dress would barely stay closed, revealing my bra/cleavage. Of course I had read this in other reviews, but when I tried it on it seemed like a non-issue for me. Of course... I didn't try it on while sitting. Doh! My fault. But still, I had no choice but to go to the restaurant in the dress - I had NOTHING else to wear, NO garment to wear underneath it, and NO time to stop at the store to find anything. So the entire dinner I was holding the material over my chest and was so uncomfortable the entire time. I feel like this garment would be 100% better if they could include a little clasp or button near the cleavage area, that way if needed, you could close it. Otherwise it is a VERY flattering dress and not at all see through. It was also very flowy and comfortable while in a very hot and humid location! ... show more

I was going on a cruise and needed a white dress for specific night. This one looked perfect in the picture, flowy and nice. I recieved it and upon opening it I discovered the material is very crispy and cold, thin and NOT flowy. I wouldnt have paid $1 for this dress had I known. Not sure how they make them look so good in pics! Seems most materials these days are polyester and have been finding out that there are numerous different polyester types so you can never tell which material youre going to get. This one I call the newspaper feel, its the worst one of all! Makes the whole style look very cheap and will not be wearing it on my cruise which is 3 days away. Not sure now what Im going to do. Would not recommend purchasing this dress! Very disappointed that Amazon would accept this kind of low quality merchandise. ... show more

This dress was the first and last dress I opened because it was absolutely perfect! It’s true white, super flowy, flattering on a curvy 225 5’2” body, and machine washable!!
