I got this for my 8-year old son since he enjoys cutting things out & there's a variety in the designs where some are easier for younger children & some are slightly more difficult which are good for older kids who have mastered their cutting skills more, so I appreciate that there's a variety in the set & that there's a variety of pictures for a child to choose from! These are good for children to paste/tape the pictures onto construction paper after cutting them out & then they can decorate/color the construction paper & make a "scene" with the picture, add stickers to it, etc. It's handy it all comes in a small box & that it comes with 2 sets of scissors (although we already have a few pairs of children's scissors.) It's kind of a bit "boring" as far as a "scissor skills" item goes (we've had "scissor skill" booklets where the items you cut out can be put together to make a picture, or a puzzle, etc so that adds a bit to the "activity" of it) but it's a nice little box to take with you somewhere as an added activity for your child to do. And it's nice there's so many pictures in it if you have multiple children or wish to use it for a play date or during a get together/event where there will be multiple children present, so there will be plenty of pictures to choose from for everyone! Package is lot of fun for a toddler learning to cut with scissors. It contains 100 sheets with double sided prints for them to cut out. The prints have different background color based on the category - cars, letters, signs, etc. It includes two scissors - one with plastic cutting surface and another with metal one. The plastic one reminds me of those ceramic knifes and it cuts better than I thought - but the metal one obviously cuts much better. They both have scissor springs to prevent those little hands from cramping from cutting too much. It's weird that the back of the box is 100% Chinese. Obviously, this package is self explanatory and you don't need directions but I feel like they could've localized it better for the American market. ... show more

The scissors are definitely for older toddlers/young kids. My 4 year old was able to manage, but my 2 year old struggled especially with the card stock. Regardless, it’s still a unique activity that I pull out on rainy or boring days.

Great scissors for kids to learn how to use them. The printed paper are on the thinner side, not super easy for the little ones to hold them without the paper stay flat and still. But my kid still enjoys them while learning from the printed picture.

Fun idea to teach cutting skills, but the paper was hard for my preschooler to cut at this point. Hopefully it will get easier as his skill improves.

My son had a lot of fun cutting these papercut. They include 2 pairs of scissors a blue one and a pink one. The scissors have a retractable spring mechanism to make it easier for cutting.
