  • functions well but cheap quality and button reaction is slow
Color: Pink
This calculator has exactly the same layout as the casio scientific calculator. I picked this because of its cute pink color. It is quite cheaply made and even its weight is very light. The button press is hard and scratchy instead of rubbery feel I expected. The first thing I noticed is that the button response is very slow. If I press a same number button multiple times, it will miss some of it unless you press the button slowly one by one. For example, if I press 666666 a little quicker, it will only record 666. If I press the button slowly, it will recognize as 666666. The calculator functions are all working fine. The calculation speed is about 3 time slower than the casio. I tried calculate 69! on both, the casio responses almost instantaneously, this calculator takes about 2 seconds. The display screen size is also smaller than the casio. For a calculator laying around as a cute backup calculator for occasional use, it will be fine, but definitely not a serious calculator for school or business, as you don't want to make a mistake due to missing digits. ... show more

  • Works as expected
Color: Blue and White
This is a very inexpensive scientific calculator that works. It takes button batteries that are included. The screen is easy to read and it has many, many different calculations it can perform. It has three different modes for performing various different calculations. After doing an initial calculation, when adding an amount to the previous total, the screen summarizes the action by showing "Answer + 5," and shows the result below. This is a nice feature. It comes with a cover that works by simply sliding the calculator into the cover. This is a good value for the price. I recommend this product. ... show more

  • Buttons are glitchy, but powerful for an $8.00 calculator!
Color: Blue
Great little scientific calculator! Buttons are a little glitchy, so press firmly. So far, it is working great (minus paying extra attention to button pushing). The instructions are your friend if you need to do something more than adding, subtracting, multiplying, and division. All-in-all, great value for the money! ... show more

  • Inexpensive but powerful
Color: Blue and White
Although the keys do feel slightly 'cheap' when pressed, this calculator is a beast considering its power and economic price. Great for when phone calculator is not allowed. Also just good to have around.

  • It Works
Color: Blue
A calculator that works as described. It's pretty decent. Quality is that of the price, so don't expect anything above a $20+ calculator. Light and a hard plastic feel and outer structure. It is simple and works good enough to get the job done. Great for studying.

  • Great for the price
Color: Blue and White
This product is great for the price. It is easy to understand and use for basic calculations. For more complex calculations you need to consult the instructions. Overall, this product is good for the price.

  • Minor annoyances.
Color: Pink and White
Here's a list of annoyances, and why this didn't get a full 5 stars: - In a keyboard, when you're using the shift key, you press and hold said shift key, then the combination for it. On this calculator, you press the shift key, then press the combination. This is not immediately obvious, and makes turning the calculator off to be a bit of a struggle initially. - The on button is just an "on" button. The off button is shift + AC button. Why not make the on and AC button the same button like literally every other calculator on the planet does? That way you can have a dedicated off button. - You NEED an off button, because this is not solar powered, but powered by 2 x button cell batteries. It's not like there wasn't space to make a cavity for AAA batteries. No. Instead, let's use the most annoying battery, and also make it a giant pain to remove from the battery place. How do I know that it's got space? I opened it up to see what's inside. Spoiler: a whole lotta air. There was more that enough space to include a AAA battery bay in there, and they chose to use the most garbage batteries ever. Why? Because some pencil pusher decided that it'll reduce the weight of the product, thereby saving a few fractions of a penny in shipping costs. This also means that the vast majority of people, when they're done with this, are not going to replace the batteries and keep it going. They're going to throw it out. Which, as the back of the calculator helpfully tells us, not to do by throwing it in the trash. There's a picture of a wheelie bin on the back with an X over it. If this were at least button cell + solar panel, I wouldn't mind it so much, because the solar will keep the calculator going for ages. I've seen some absolute garbage calculators come with solar. Why can't this one? - The body doesn't completely enclose the insides. There's holes where the two pieces of the chassis should meet up neatly. This will, over time, allow moisture and other ... stuff to get into the calculator's internals. That's not great for electronics. Again, it's indication that this was meant to become e-waste, and not something that one uses for a long time. I'm really irritated, because it's a cute little calculator in a pretty pink color. The color on the website matches what I got in my hands. The keys are very satisfying to press. The size factor is great. I can throw it into my pocket and away I go to the land of Math. The cover has a cute little space that is designated for you to put a label. It's a weird size, as my 3/8" label fits perfectly, and most label makers are 1/2", which might make it a bit of a tight squeeze, but that's (again) a minor annoyance. This could have been a lovely little calculator that you'd buy and use for life. It's meant to be loved and well used. There were such minor tweaks that could have been done to make this the perfect gift for your school aged kid who's ready to go to middle school or something. Instead, it's e-waste waiting to happen, and I'm big mad about it. ... show more
