The best feature of this (aside from safety) is the adjustable fit dial in the back. Because of this this helmet fits my daughter's head perfectly leaving some room to grow. The material is sturdy and is built the way you'd expect a helmet to be. The pattern is cute and has not faded when kept inside when not in use. I went to order a 2nd one in a different color and received a red one instead of the blue that I ordered. We purchased this helmet last December to match my son’s new bike. We always insist that he wears the helmet and fastens it properly, and thank goodness he listens. He was recently hit by a car riding his bike to school. His head smashed into the windshield, cracking it. All four of my kids have this helmet and I especially like the extra bump in the back to protect the back of their head. The helmets are nice and airy so they don’t get too hot.
