Our preschool uses this tricycle for little ones who are learning to ride. It has held up very well with hours of daily use so I got one. Very easy to assemble, though one bolt broke while still quite loose in the tightening process. It's a nice tricycle for learning because it's light weight so not a lot of work to push it, and adults can manage steering while child pedals, and child can learn to pedal by giving some of the effort til they get strong enough to pedal all on their own. Easy to assemble and great for small kids (1 yr +). Drawback is you definitely need to grease the parts or it squeals and squeaks terribly loud.

This tricycle is a great first bike for little kids. Assembly was easy and very quick. The steering pole behind the bike is a game changer with easy removal making it a breeze to transport. However, the trike was extremely squeaky from the start and needed an application of WD40 on the moving parts, which fixed the problem. The squeaking didn’t effect the operation of the trike at all, just made quite a racket. After three weeks or so, one pedal fell off and broke. Contacted Schwinn, who promptly sent out a replacement pedal free of charge. All in all, a good little trike. ... show more

This was fairly easy to put together. Love the backpack on the seat. I wsh the dump storage unit could be fastened to stay in place. When placing water bottles inside for our walks it sometimes dumps the contents. The bike is so much fun for my grandsons.

The product itself is great. Our problem was that we received a tricycle that had been returned by someone else. The hardware that is needed to put the bike together was missing. We had to call the manufacturer to get the hardware which took another week to receive. I believe that if you are going to send out a product that has been returned by someone else you had better make it clear to buyer first of all and you had better make sure all of the components are there to assemble it. Way to expensive to break first use. Santa brought this so box is gone already. Can't return. Christmas morning I put my baby in the living room and the steering stick we need broke off! We can't even use it now till he's grown. This was really expensive for us to get for it to be not used now.

It is fairly easy to put together, however it squeaks horribly and is very loose with the adult steering handle. I like that I don't have to lean over to control it though and it will turn the front wheel with some effort. My son loves it.

My 3 year old loves this! I see people complaining about the difficulty of assembling it. Really? I'm a female and it took me 1/2 hour. I love that the parental push bar also controls the bicycle steering. The only issues I have are the foot pegs were stuck in the back position. I pulled too hard and broke something, but they do stay in the upright position, so I guess it's not a huge deal. The buckle for the seatbelt is a little hard to undo. ... show more
