Solid rubber tires were wanted and product pictures posted on Amazon site appeared to show tires to be solid. Question & answer response stated tires were solid rubber. Tires on actual product are inflatable. Tricycle was easy to assemble and well built. A couple issues is that the head tube handlebar clamp bolt does not keep the handlebars in place. A minor jostle of the handlebar causes them to move off-center. The valve location on the rear tires makes inflation difficult if not impossible. We bought this as a gift for our 5-yr-old grandson. My husband is a mechanical engineer, which is the only reason it came together in the first place. He had to file off welding splatter from the rear wheel assembly to make the fittings work. And the seat assembly is cheap plastic that constantly comes loose, so the seat is wobbly. In addition, the steering mechanism keeps coming loose, which makes the handlebars out of alignment. What a disappointment for the price paid! We may be returning it. As I stated in the headline, this is such a cute retro trike. Every time my 2 year-old granddaughter comes over and sees it, she says "ooohhhh"! A couple of issues have been resolved. I was very frustrated with Pacific Cycle but ended up being more than satisfied. The original shipment did not include the main frame. I returned the bike to Amazon and received a new one with all parts included. Assembly was easy enough. But when my granddaughter got on the trike, my son and I realized the handle bars were not symmetrical, making the steering a bit off. I called Pacific Cycle and did receive a new handlebar but with no grips. That did not seem like a problem but it turned out thengrips could not be removed without destroying them. We called and were promised a return call from someone who could help. That did not happen. I sent a very unhappy email to the company. While I understand COVID-19 has made business difficult, this was beyond acceptable. I finally received an email from Missy who asked me to call her which I did. She was so helpful. Not only did we get the new grips (and a new bell); Missy asked if my granddaughter had a helmet, which she did not. We received two helmets, one infant and one toddler size! Needless to say, I went from extreme frustration to being totally satisfied! My granddaughter loves the trike and I'm so pleased with how the situation was resolved! Thank you Missy!! ... show more

My son absolutely loves it. Schwinn had the tricycle built by Pacific Cycle in China (I'm not knocking China, I have my own manufacturing plant that I own there) who conveniently placed their sticker on the frame. The welding is very good quality overall and made of actual steel!! The paint is a 9 out of 10 with very small defects on a couple corners where coverage was chipped. If I continued nitpicking there are several tiny issues including cosmetic things. The stickers like the one on the seat are wrinkled and creased. The tires are inflatable like car tires but don't have caps on the stems. The tires are very nice with rotation arrows for direction of rotation but all are mounted rotating backwards. There are other things like a pair of screws to mount a part to the frame that don't match. The size and threads are different so we just drove them in with our electric Dewalt screwdriver ( it will hold just fine). I went into such detail so you can feel like you know exactly what you will receive. Overall i would buy this product over and over again!!! ... show more
