The tires ride like a dream. Very low rolling resistance. Schwalbe Marathon have been so for many years with good reason. I took my Dahon Boardwalk out for a 30 mile ride and the tires performed exceptionally well. The tires I had prior were nice, but these are even better. Nothing can affect the quality of bike ride better than the tire selection. The reflective trim on the sidewall is a nice touch. The bicycle shop, that sold the tires, located in San Diego, CA is top notch. They arrived sooner than expected. It was also nice to see the tires wrapped with care and not placed (stuffed) inside another brown cardboard box. Very eco friendly packaging. Also included was a nice cycling cartoon and some other paper goodies. They definitely like the business they are in. I wish they were my local bike shop. ... show more

I ordered a full set of tires for my Catrike Dumont. A 26" rear and a pair of 20" front tires. I've put maybe 100 miles on the tires and ALL three have bulges. I had the tires installed by a local bike shop (they should have seen the centerline on all the tires wasn't straight (indicating they were bad straight from factory). The re-seller on Amazon should never have shipped these tires. I was rolling 23mph across a bridge when the steering started to shake HARD. That's when I saw the massive wobble on both front tires. After slowing down and inspecting the rear tire, it also had the start of a bulge. I could have died if they would have blown! No excuses when you're buying something new. Zero stars. ... show more

    • Schwalbe just makes great tires
These replaced some crappy tires that came on a folding bike. I have schwalbe marathon 700's on my commuter/touring bike and haven't had a flat in 2 years, I ride every day in all weather. The 20" were WAY lighter then the others. Before I kept thinking how slow the bike was, now the bike is almost as fast, but,, still not as fast as the big bike but I ain't no racer. Hopefully the race guard material is as thick as on the 700 marathon. P.S. Paid full price, didn't get nothing for this review and I am a verified buyer ... show more

i gave this item 4 stars because the firs time a went on a bide ride i had a flat the little hole on the tube is where the rim is so i say that the tire is not bad first set i got 833 miles on them and i hit something hard and i got a flat but the tire was fine just busted the tube the bike shop here where i live said you can get up to about 1500 miles but that depends on if you have a lot of up hill or rough concrete ... show more

I put these on my Dahon folding bike for short distance (under 10 miles) travel. They have been very grippy and durable. I'd buy them again!
