We've owned Schott Zwiesel glasses for years and we like these the best.. The capacity is great for large cold drinks with lots of ice.. Love the way the ice swirls around in the base of the glass too. No ice clumps fly out and hit you in the nose when you're drinking. The glasses are versatile and can even double as wine glasses. The classic good looks and the glow of crystal are perfect for any table. Despite the thin glass, these tumblers are tough and don't scratch or cloud up.. These glasses are very good quality from what I can tell. They have the beautiful crystal "ring" to them when clinked, have a nice weight and are balanced well. For wine these glasses are perfect. Full disclosure, I just got these today but I highly doubt my opinion of them will reduce over time. I have had them for a few days now and I have a couple updates: 1) No problem holding from the base / bottom but if you reach over to grab the glass from the top / rim they are sometimes (dry hands, full glass) hard to hold securely. 2) I don't use a dishwasher and hand washing is a bit harder than I would like due to the small rim opening. (On the plus side these glasses are hard to slosh or spill). I am still very happy I got these glasses! ... show more

I needed to replace our wine glasses because several had broken over the years. There's debate in my house on whether or not one should drink wine out of stemless glasses. But since I did the shopping (and washing), I picked these. So far I like them - They don't tip as easily so I'm hoping we don't break them as quickly. And they are dishwasher safe and come out clean and clear. I think they look nice. Most of our gatherings are very casual so I think they work great. Maybe sometime we'll get proper wine glasses with stems for more formal dinners. But I really like these! ... show more

These are beautiful in appearance and easy to hold, therefore, giftable. I would add a note to the recipient that they EASILY break/shatter into pieces and slivers. I have owned other brands of Tritan glasses purchased from PB and Amazon. No breakage issues but over time 3-4 yrs, use and dishwasher cleanings (upper rack only) they began to show etchings and use. I wanted items not made in China so this well-known brand fit my requirements. I preferred the manufacturer and wanted Tritan glassware. I have owned these since the end of April 2020. I have been hand washing these as I am awaiting delivery of a new dishwasher. These are advertised as resisting breakage in addition to other positive attributes. Last night my spouse was putting the cleaned glasses away. One of the glasses fell against a coffee mug on the drainboard. The Tritan glass broke into 7 pieces with numerous shards. Wow, I did not expect this to occur. I am very surprised and disappointed. So, I would suggest these be used with extreme care (not for outdoor recreational use). I have 35 year old Waterford leaded (ugh) crystal that has withstood clinking against glass items and falling to the side onto a table without affect. I am questioning the validity of Schott Zweisel's Tritan advertising claims. I will not purchase these again. ... show more

I sent these glasses as part of a gift. They are lovely. And surprisingly sturdy. They arrived in a fairly thin simple box which arrived slightly crushed. Despite this and the lack of bubble wrap or packing paper around these glasses, they were completely intact. They are excellent stemless glasses!

I have a lot of Schott Zwiesel glasses. I really like them as a brand, great glassware at a reasonable price. They hold up well, They tend to have wonderfully thin rims, and no seams. They always look top tier and fantastically clear. These also have a nice weight, and I like the rim. What I don't like is the shape. Because of that taper, if I have dry hands, they don't feel secure when I pick them up. And hand washing, you need to have a good grip on the rim or palm the base so they don't slip out of your hand. I tend to hand-wash glassware. As far as build quality, clarity, heft, volume, stability - it's a 5-star glass like most of their other glasses. As far as execution, it quickly became a glass I don't reach for, because I always feel like I'm going to drop it. If you like that shape, you can't go wrong with this brand. ... show more
