Excellent quality, playability and tones. Same glassy Strat single coils we all love, but also a bit higher-powered pickups than standard Strats, incorporating some of the more desired mods to 'hot-rod' Strat pickups that many musicians do. Much more usable bridge pickup that a typical Strat, and simpler controls - no 3rd tone knob - that are more out of the way of the strum/pick hand. Locking tuners and roasted maple neck - silky smooth and super comfortable with a thin C shape - '60s era shape, see the stats on Schecter's website. Great for Gibson players, the neck radius is flatter - 14", and especially nice - cord jack is on the side of the body, not recessed into the front of the body like typical Strats. If you're looking for good, heftier Strat tones, or are a Gibson or Gretsch player that has never quite bonded with Fenders, this may be a perfect choice for you to get those classic single coil sounds we all crave from time to time.
