Description

Schecter is proud announce the debut of the much anticipated HELLRAISER HYBRID COLLECTION. A unique fusing of our infamous HELLRAISER and SLS models, the "Hybrid" will be just that a combination of the most sought after features of both! The Hell raiser"s signature highly figured quilted Maple top is now redesigned with a more sculptured arch and is set into the Mahogany body with an increased upper access cutaway. All HH models will be finished in High Gloss Transparent Black Burst. You asked, we listened. This collection is armed with EMG"s 57/66 Active hum-buckers, with Brushed Black metal-works covers. The HH C-7 and C-8 versions also use USA made Hipshot Non-Trem bridges to accommodate progressive playing styles. Schecter Locking tuners and Graphtec black Tusq nuts are standard on the non-FR versions. The SLS shares its popular thin, fast neck profile and satin finish. The compound radius ebony fiberboard is adorned with an "inverted" dot pattern; switching to the treble side at the 15th fret. The Metal Cross, synonymous with the Hell raiser sits proudly at the 12th fret. A newly designed "Carbon fiber" binding and glow-in-the-dark side dots (great for low light live situations) add the 2014 Hell raiser Hybrid"s "classic-metal" look.

This guitar is one that I absolutely have fallin' in love with. It is a joy to play. Love the EMG configuration on the Hellraiser Hybrid. I highly recommend putting this one on your list of must haves. Schecter does not disappoint.

  • Amazing instrument!!!
Color: Trans Black Burst Style: HELLRAISER HYBRID C-1
Schecter Hellraiser Hybrid is a great quality instrument all around. Mine is with a Floyd Rose 1500, which is a good tremolo bridge, although it kinda lost its luster after several years. I'm thinking about replacing it with the German Original Floyd Rose just for the looks. Otherwise, the 1500 one still works well. But I'm still giving it 5 stars because it's all-around an amazing guitar otherwise. ... show more

  • Good choice for left-handed players
Color: TBB Style: HELLRAISER HYBRID C-1 LH
It cost a lot, but it feels like a high quality instrument. I bought a Schecter because the neck feels slim and it uses humbuckers pickups instead of typical Stratocaster single coil pickups. Schecter makes almost all their electric guitars in a left-handed version. It makes all the different in the world to play a musical instrument with your dominant hand doing the most complicated stuff. I play so much better and easily with a lefty guitar instead of forcing myself to make do with a right-handed guitar. ... show more

  • Amazing - pickups aesthetics, feel
Color: Trans Black Burst Style: HELLRAISER HYBRID C-1
This guitar is a versatile beast. The pickup configuration is amazing. I also have the Het Set and I can say in comparison this pickup set is a winner. I think this comes off as a bit more bite than the Het Set and the Het Set has just a bit more brightness. This config though is perfect for ripping your ears off and then playing something really clean and gorgeous. The top is gorgeous, quilted black, with the white piping and I love the brushed metal on the pickups, this guitar is a demon straight out of the case (I bought the case as an add on) The back of the neck is satin and just like butter to play. Satin on the back of the neck is just a stellar choice. The keys being that brushed nickel black design and the inlays are aesthetics that make you want to hug this thing. It has glow in the dark side dots as well. This thing played like a Queen right out of the case. I have an Ibanez RG from 1990 and that was my go-to for that classic crunch, this guitar has taken that place. Now this is my main axe and the Hetfield Signature is my second. This guitar cannot be beat in its class for the price. ... show more
