So I’ve been hooked on Schaeffer’s for about 4 years. I’m convinced it is the best oil you can buy. I drive a 2002 Subaru wrx, one of the major issues with these cars is rod knock. I don’t really deal with common Subaru issues and I’d like to give thanks to this oil. I’m thankful my new engine isn’t burning oil, somehow. But this oil is different, it’s sticky. I need to make a video. If you pour this oil in a small container and run an egg beater through it, the oil will climb up the egg beater. Mobil1 splattered everywhere. Something about this oil just keeps things going great. My friends think I’m crazy for spending a bit more for my oil and not using Ams oil like everyone else. And then they still get rod knock while I’m hitting boost not too worried something will break. I also don’t have an issue paying an arm and a leg for their gear oil, I’ve been using it for the last 60k miles in my rebuilt trans, it’s been replaced a few times. But things are great Can’t recommend this stuff enough! ... show more

Size: 1 Quart (Pack of 12) Style: 5W-30 Pattern Name: Engine Oil
LATEST UPDATE: 275,000 miles GMC YUKON Truck is running Great! Oil consumption has again improved and Truck is running well quiet and strong! Update: Second case ordered oil consumption has improved significantly! Engine quiet and as indicated by manufacturer after allowing engine to adjust to the new oil consumption has improved significantly! Recently switched to this full synthetic oil from Mobil 1 -Significant increase in oil consumption after first oil change. Tech support indicated this is a common problem when switching oils suggest after 3 or 4 oil changes should stabilize. Two quarts used in first 3,000 miles -very high & expensive oil consumption but high Mile vehicle so will keep monitoring and may switch back to blend? Plan to update rating after next oil changes... ... show more

    • BEST OIL HANDS DOWN!
Size: 1 Quart Style: 5W-30 Pattern Name: Engine Oil
I have used used Valvoline, Royal Purple, Mobile 1 and Schaeffer's 9000. This is the ONLY OIL THAT WILL NOT BURN OFF!!!! You change your oil and when you change again, not one ounce is gone. The mark on the dipstick is the same mark as when you did your oil change. I went 6,000 miles the first change and 8,000 on the second and still not one drop burnt. I even had my samples sent in for analysis to BLACKSTONE LABORATORIES and every single time they said try to go longer they even tested the TBN which is basically the amount of additive left in the oil for Lubrication and it was spot on. My last analysis they said try 10,000 miles and send another sample! They will give you a full report of everything that is in the oil and where the values should be. I will never use anything but Schaeffer's Lubricants. ... show more
