  • Almost instantaneous buyer's remorse
Just like you (probably), I was looking for a budget-friendly monitor option. I was excited when it arrived and I got it setup for use with no issues. It even came with an HDMI cable. Visually, it's just fine, though the chrome-esque "Sceptre" logo on the front reflects my fingers on the keyboard and is somewhat distracting. The real problem is with the 'built-in speakers'. They're useless. I thought for sure Windows was managing the audio levels somehow and forcing these to stay low, but after all available troubleshooting (and reading through many others' comments) I'm just left disappointed, and realizing that once again I "got what I paid for". Personally, I think it's important to rate/review a product with honesty even if it qualifies as a "got what I paid for" experience. I would not buy this again. ... show more

  • Get what you pay for
These aren’t horrible. Definitely not great. I use these for engineering purposes. Mostly to research, program, and CAD. I wouldn’t use these if you’re looking for pristine images. For their price they are a fair deal for quality to dollar spent. I purchased two. I’m satisfied. Would recommend if you’re looking for something that’s not going to break the bank. ... show more

  • Good Monitor for the Price
My 2007 monitor finally died and I needed a replacement. 22” is all the fits in my desk setup and this unit fit the bill. Good price and features. My only thought was the brightest/contrast was a bit high out of the box, but I’m sure I can adjust it to a more appropriate level for my taste. All and all a quality unit at a good price, so far so good. One more thought… the power switch in on the back, lower right hand corner, so turning it on and off is a bit of a PITA. You have to reach underneath and get behind the monitor and press the switch. It’s actually easier then it sounds but still not optimal. ... show more

Comes as stated. 75 hertz at 1080p at this price range is quite a bargain. Everything so far is running smoothly performance wise, though the stand lacks maneuverability, you can't really adjust it much.

  • I’m sure we are not the only ones getting crap
I can’t do it. The first one we got for my son for Christmas and it had blank broken pickles. The next one we have now has a bleeding looking damaged area with a continuous imprint in the image. I can’t rate it highly.
