  • Pretty good deal Just what I was looking for.
I was looking to rearrange the playing area for my son and myself. He was sitting about 7 feet away from his screen and was gaming on a 27 inch gaming monitor. I was sitting at my desk and within about 4 feet of my monitor. I was gaming on a 23 inch monitor. I wanted to up size for both of us so I bought this 32 incher to replace the 27 incher my son was using. I took the 27inch monitor for myself. The settings on this monitor seem simple compared to the BenQ 27 inch monitor but it doesn't lack for picture quality. To me, that's the most important feature of the monitor, not the presets. Playing games like COD and Battlefield 4, my son has immediately noticed a difference in the gaming experience. He can see everything now and clearly. the 5 inch increase in size was perfect for the distance he was sitting from the screen. I did spend a little time to look through the presets and they did have some basic selections. Playing on FPS mode, it did brighten and sharpen up the screen so that my son can see way more details than he did before. He calls it amazing and awesome. I love seeing the clear action when watching him game. Compared to the BenQ, I thought the colors weren't quite as sharp but it was not bad by any means. The refresh rate was plenty high to work well with these shooters. I would buy it again if I needed another. What makes it even better is that I used my Amazon $$ to buy this so it really only cost me about $50... ... show more

  • Very Nice Monitor
I am very happy with this monitor. It was very easy to unpack and assemble the base. It even came with a screwdriver, which is a very nice touch. It was a little difficult at first to set the correct input port, as the OSD does not work until it has a signal from the computer. However, once I figured out that you need to push the input selector, and then wait 2-3 seconds for a small input select menu to show up in the upper right, I was able to select the input. The display looks great, with very nice colors and nice/sharp black -- not faded or washed out at all. I am not a serious gamer, but the response time is great, for everything I have used so far. Given that this is an entry level monitor, with a low price, I am very happy. I would strongly recommend this monitor to anyone who wants a large, 1440p monitor at an entry level price. ... show more

  • Good Looking Monitor, Cumbersome Controls
This is a lot of monitor for the money. Pros: Large, good looking screen, bright, and the upgrade from my old HD monitor to this QHD monitor is noticeable. No dead pixels or obvious flaws that I could see. Cons: Controls are somewhat awkwardly located, with menus that are difficult to navigate (switching between inputs is especially cumbersome). Included stand offers very limited adjustment options-- it only tilts up and down, does not raise and lower or pan side to side. IMO the monitor sits too low as is. Onboard speakers are anemic, but that's only to be expected in a monitor of this price range. Additional notes: I ended up ditching the included stand and got a desk mount with more positioning options. For some reason the bottom 2 screws of the monitor's VESA mount have a shallower depth than the top 2. Luckily the mount I bought had other, shorter screws I could use, but it's weird to have to use two different lengths for the same mount. ... show more

  • Great Monitor
This Monitor is great, I love it. It's very clear and it came in the box brand new. It was supposed to be in a Amazon box but it came without. I was healing from a broken Right Ankle at that moment so my UPS Driver knocked and just brought it in for me. It was freezing outside so it sat for a few hour in the box to warm back up. I had a curved Samsung 32 inch 1080P before this and this one just looks huge, much bigger than my Samsung which my wife took to work. It's not 4K but I didn't want it right now. My PC more than allows for a 4K I have a Nvidia GTX 1060 Ti in it so I have the power, I just don't game on it. I have a Xbox One X with a 70 inch 4K HDR in the living room so I'm good. I use my office for internet and Editing my 4K Drone footage. Does it fine shows it very well. Get this. it was supposed to be a Sunday delivery came on Friday just 18 hours after it was ordered. Yes I'm Prime. It's great. ... show more

  • Stunning Display - Best I have ever seen!!!
This is the fourth monitor I have purchased in the past month. The other 3 went back. Do not listen to reviews that tell you the best display is an IPS panel. IPS panels look like trash. On a black screen you will see bright white coming through around the whole perimeter of the display. This monitor is GORGEOUS. Deep black, even blacks, bright white whites. It is PERFECT. I went into display settings and boosted everything up to 125% so the icons werent tiny and this thing is so clear it looks like I am looking at a giant Ipad Pro at 32". No dead pixel. The speakers are like all monitor speakers, useless, but I didnt but it for the speakers. FIVE STARS. Once you see 2k, you will never go back to 1080p. ... show more

  • Best monitor for $200!
This is a killer monitor! $200 bucks for 32", 85hz refresh rate, and 1440p? Plus it has speakers! They aren't great, but they're there if you need them. There's even a setting to put a crosshair on the screen lol. Not everyone uses that type of frature, but once again...more bells and whistles for not a lot of money. The image quality is great overall, and very smooth for gaming. I play a lot of fast paced games. They all look great on this monitor. My PC plays most games on ultra settings. I haven't been disappointed yet with the image on this monitor. I like it so much I actually bought 3 lol. Definitely worth the money! ... show more

  • Total nightmare!
I have ordered two of these. After nearly 10 days (with prime guaranteed date long past) my first order never arrived and amazon finally shipped me another one. Had to wait another 2 days for it to show up. Putting together the monitor with the metal stand was a nightmare. 45 minutes, 10 screws (that wouldn't line up) later and it's finally on my desk. Great picture quality, nice refresh rate, sleek looking monitor! Wait, what's that red dot? Oh no, another one? MORE?!?! Several dead pixels right out of the box. At this point I am returning and spending more on a bigger name. This is my first (and last) budget monitor purchase. I should have known better. If there weren't any shipping headaches and dead pixels this would be 4 stars. Nice quality picture, sleek design that looks good on my setup... just... doesn't work and I'm unwilling to risk ANOTHER replacement. Sorry Sceptre, this isn't my idea of quality. ... show more

  • The 85Hz refresh rate is superb for average gamer.
Has a little light bleed from bottom two corners but that’s to be expected from just about any monitor. Picture didn’t need much adjustment out of the box. Night and day different from my 720p monitor, great picture. Used specifically a 4K rated display cable (not all cables are created equal, do your research) to get the 85Hz refresh rate, and yes that does make a visible difference over 60Hz when gaming. I could tell immediately when moving the mouse around. So if you’re on the fence because it’s not a 144Hz don’t let that dissuade you. The picture quality for the price is worth it. But don’t pay more than $250 for this. I see resellers trying to sell it for $400 on here, and that’s too much. Also for those wondering, it is a VA panel. Not an IPS. Which means typically deeper color range. Also VA panels have less light bleed and if you don’t care about super high FPS in games then this is a great deal for the money. Great product. ... show more
