Until now, I'd never gotten in on the wax melt action. Instead, I was mainly using candles with a candle-warming lamp and essential oils in a diffuser. I have smart diffusers all over my house, and I love them, but it gets a bit tedious having to refill them every time I use them. I haven't managed to lock in the whole ritual mindset approach with the process of it all, yet. I also have candle warming lamps in several places, but the candles I was using with them have lost most of their scent. I have all the things needed to make candles, but in pondering it all it seemed to me there was no point in making candles with wicks if I wasn't even going to light them, which would have been more like a candle-sized wax melt, I guess. There's no making this next part up. Ironically, 5 days before these popped up on Vine, I was actually in the candle section at Walmart, looking (ok, mainly sniffing) at wax melts by Scentsationals in the very scents included in this set. I'd even selected the larger size of these very scents and put them in my basket. I figured I could just create a makeshift kind of holder for using them with my candle lamps to give them a go. I'm a healer and a very shamanic and mystical person so the scents and their names appealed to me. However, while I was still there, I received a call from a friend telling me my soon-to-be 7-year-old daughter had broken her leg very badly at the trampoline park he'd taken her to. I had to race out and abandon my entire cart (including the wax melts I'd selected) in the frozen section of Walmart and race over to the trampoline park to get there in time to ride with my girl in the ambulance to the hospital. Mind you, I'd never used wax melts before, and then when I tried, I couldn't complete the purchase. Then, a mere 5 days later, they're posted on Amazon Vine, and there I was getting a second chance to bring these home, and at a time when I'm stranded at home with my daughter and her broken leg. The timing was made even better by the fact that she was marooned on the sofa daybed with her broken leg. She was just as excited as I was when they arrived, and they cheered her up and created a nicer ambience for her to convalesce in. I've started with "Illusion" and just put a couple in 2 small bowls and set them under my candle lamps in my living room and bedroom. I've since ordered wax melt liners, and eventually I'll probably invest in something else to put them in. Upon further research, it seems wax melts aren't made of the same kind of wax as candles are, so it could be that wax melts are a better fit with candle lamps. I've used them each 3 different times for several hours, and they both smell as fragrant as when I received them. Being new to using them, I'm no expert on wax melts, especially when it comes to comparing their performance with different brands. However, I can compare the pricing they're selling for here on Amazon vs what they're selling them for at Walmart, and it's HANDS DOWN a better deal at Walmart. Presently, they're asking $16.99 for this set, here. At Walmart, each one of these packs with six melt cubes is $2.22, and a 2 pack of them is $4.44, a 4-pack (basically what they're selling here) is $8.88 there so the cost here is almost twice as much for the same amount of cubes. 12 cube packs are $5 there, and 5 packs with 60 cubes total will cost $20. I like these, so I'll be buying more of them, but for obvious reasons, I'll be buying them at Walmart instead.

I've used Scentsationals wax melts before and I really enjoyed them so I thought this 4-pack was a great way to try out new fragrances. The different colors are really pretty and help differentiate between the different scents. They don't take long to melt down and fill the air with fragrance. They have really good throw and I can get a good fragrance out of a cube for about 2 days worth of burning for several hours per day so they last a good while. They are priced a little higher than I've seen at my local WM but it's not bad when you factor in having to go get them and the risk of not having the scent you want in stock.

First off, I love that the packaging categorizes the scents. It's a small detail that is very much appreciated. So far, I've used 2 blocks of Enchanted - Very strong! Within an hour, my one bedroom apartment was filled with the scent. I actually turned it off during the day cause it was that strong - which I don't mind at all! Means I get to make it last longer. I imagine it would be the perfect strength for a full sized home. 4 days and approx. 60 hrs of runtime, it's still strong, but not overpowering and I can have my warmer on all day. Many other off brand waxes are barely fragrant enough to last an hour if you're lucky. I'm honestly shocked with how long this scent is lasting. Will update my review if the other scents fall short for whatever reason, but I doubt they'll be any less fragrant. Overall: very happy! Scent breakdowns - Enchanted: Blackberry and Patchouli come through thoroughly. Mix of floral and musk. This one is definitely my favorite. Illusion: Cedar, Musk, and Mystery - kinda smells like a popular bar of soap based on Earth fountains found in Ireland - which also has a base of cedar, wood, and musk. So this makes a lot of sense. The overall notes are a bit high to be a true woodsy scent to me, which usually have a little more musk. Very 'clean' smelling. Walking on Air: Base is vanilla with something floral. Generic, but pleasant. Very neutral. Zen: Fresh is accurate, it reminds me of fresh laundry with a minty undertone.

This is a wonderful set of 4 different wax melt scents. I started with a Zen wax melt and the scent went on for hours. I added one of the Illusion melts and it just further elevated the scent. I switched the warmer off when I went to bed, and I was still able to smell it when I woke up this morning. They're so easy to us-- just pop a cube out by pushing on the bottom of the package. Then drop a cube of wax into your wax warmer. It's that simple. I love when my house has a distinct scent to it. I was very pleased with how long the scent lingered.

These wax melts were all soothing and made me feel relaxed when they were in use. Enchanted is by far my favorite. It has a more potent smell, which is needed in a large room. The others all smell so good, however, they were not strong enough to permeate throughout my large bedroom. I imagine they would be great for smaller rooms. I have a wax melter right behind my bed, so it has been so nice to fall asleep to these scents.

Scentsationals wax melt 4 pack/24 cubes all smell amazing! They burn evenly, clean up is easy as it doesn't leave an oil film behind and you get a different scent with each bar. ILLUSION is a Cedar, Musk and Mystery ENCHANTED is Blackberry and Patchouli ZEN is Sooth your soul CARIBBEAN CLOUDS is Sea Salt and Pineapple. Every single scent fills my home as I use the same scent in all my warmers to intensify the smell. The scent will last about 4-5 days then I change it. This is keeping the warmer on all day and shutting off at night.
