Awesome Oldschool Game
This one is an oldie but a goodie. Take on Miami and its surrounding islands as Tony Montana, the ultimate gangster, in this video game sequel to the 80's cult classic Scarface. Don't expect top notch graphics as this is indeed an original Xbox game, but do expect to be blown away by the gameplay. From drug-running to gang-busting to racing to decorating your mansion this game has quite a bit of depth and complexity. Plus, with a sizable playlist (heard both while in and out of which ever vehicle you command) including songs from the movie soundtrack you'll feel as though you've walked out of a time-machine 30 years into the past. I would recommend it to any avid gamer, and strongly recommend it to every fan of 3rd person/adventure shooters. The world is yours!

This game is a classic
I got lucky and found this game for a reasonable price (less than 20$) after seeing it go for 60 or more on Ebay and WOW i was blown away. Having never played this game in the past and being someone who loved all the GTA games i found that i actually liked this game MORE than GTA Vice City and thats a tall order. Its not worth Ebay prices but its a CLASSIC game and definitely rivals GTA.

Surprisingly Fun Game
I bought this game a while back but, didn't give it a full chance. I saw some trailers and got in the mood for the game again. I'm enjoying it on my 360. The first level was a great idea in which you start the last epic scene of Scarface and basically play out the alternative ending. Tony Montana definetaly feels like Tony. The voice acting is great and you can taunt people and start up random conversations with Tony and pedestrians. The attitude and persona of Scarface is captured. I'm impressed by how many lines he has. The game is basically building back your empire and reputation. You sell drugs, make drug deals, defend your turf, take over towns and etc. The more you buy the better you reputation. You wanna take back Miami. The aiming is pretty good and the gun play is fun. One of my knocks on the game is that there's a lot of random driving. There's a lot of narrow bridges and it gets annoying at times driving back and forth with the way the maps are contructed. The graphics are solid for a 2006 game but, if your playing it on your 360 then there's obviously going to be a huge difference between Scarface and GTA IV. Can't expect much from an original xbox game. Other negative is that it can feel a bit repetitive doing similar things over and over again. Still the sense of building the empire is what makes it satisfying along with the Tony Montana character. For $20 or below I do recommend this title to any Scarface fans that wanna live out the alternative ending of the movie. If you just finished watching Scarface and suddenly have the urge to play a video game related to the movie then you won't be disappointing. Will fill your cravings.

restriction in in some parts hurts this game
I'd say this game is closest to being the best movie licenced game, aside from that comment its only a above everage game. Its enjoyable and you'll have fun but the pacing is just not right and the game forces you to do menial things in order to progress the story for example you'll HAVE to buy items for your mantions to gain more reputation along with selling drugs every few intermmisions in order to move on to the next story mission it just hurts the pacing and makes you forget what part of the story your up to because you'll be doing so many drug deals, killing so many gang members the story gets lost in the gameplay. On that note gameplay is pretty straigt forward you can shoot, take cover and enter blind rage mode wich is cool and definetly helps in those big shootouts but what hurts the gameplay most is restriction when causing mayhem, you can't do it in this game for the most part at all as every illegal thing you do you get cop heat, even when your killing gang members eventually the cops will show up you can fight them off but if you don't evade them quick enough its game over, and evading them is annoying and overall just a hassle. In the end the open world maimi feels restricted and unnecessary.

Underrated
How does no one know about this game? This is a free roam Scarface lovers dream. Sell drugs and live in mansions, can't get any better. Expensive but well worth it for a classic game.

Not working
The product came defective. It did not come in the original box cover and also it did not work at all. When the game did load, it froze almost immediately and half the time it is not "recognized" while all my other games work fine so I know it is the disks fault, you can see clear scratches on it that may be the reason why but it stated it was in "good" condition. Highly disappointed.
