Worked better than I even expected, took half the time at least than doing it by hand, and did a better job leveling than a rake could do. This is the smallest one I could find...most are made for pros...and are way wider. But for my yard, this was just right. Mixed sand 50/50 with mulch...dumped it on the lawn...and this tool smoothed it out and got it down to dirt level. The lawn is regrowing through it it. The low price is what got my interest...less than half of the bigger versions.

This rake worked for what I needed but if I was doing much more or a bigger area? I would want something else. The handle screwed together which was nice. The metal is thin. I imagine after a little more use I'll be replacing the handle with a more sturdy one.

The leveling area of this unit is pretty small but it works good for leveling a lawn with new dirt to prepare for overseeding. The biggest problem is that the handle screws together is several places -- great for saving space but it already broke where the threads are. I took that section out and it was still usable for a few minutes and then it snapped in another spot. I am not going full force either, it seems to be a design flaw where the metal is thin at the threads. Unfortunately, it looks like the return window is only 30 days and a surgery prevented me from using it until the last couple days and now I am stuck with a broken tool. :-(
