Set name: Ammonia Free (12 Pack)
From the well-respected, family-owned SC Johnson lineup, Windex is one of those names that almost speaks for itself. It is like Kleenex, Band-Aid, or Q-tips. The brand name has practically become the category! We use Windex all the time for glass around the house, so trying these ammonia-free wipes was an easy yes. The real win here is convenience. Instead of dragging out a spray bottle, paper towels, and dealing with overspray, you just grab a wipe and go. For the inside of a car windshield, mirrors, side windows, shower glass, or quick household glass touch-ups, these are incredibly handy. The wipes cleaned my windows and mirrors very well. They removed fingerprints, light smudges, dust, and the normal haze that builds up on interior car glass. I also appreciated that there were no heavy fumes inside the vehicle. They do have a fresh Windex-type scent, but it is not nearly as strong or overpowering as using a spray bottle in a confined space. This case includes 12 travel packs with 25 wipes each, so you are getting 300 wipes total. At roughly $68, this is not exactly a bargain-bin purchase, but after comparing similar auto/glass wipes, the price is generally in the same range. You are not really getting a dramatic bulk discount compared with buying single packs, but you are getting the convenience of having plenty on hand. One pack can go in each car, one in the garage, one in the laundry room, one under the sink, and you are set for a while. Final thoughts… ✔️ Trusted Windex performance in a convenient wipe format. ✔️ Great for keeping a pack in the car for quick interior glass cleaning. ✔️ No spray bottle, no overspray, and less mess. ✔️ Fresh scent without the heavy fumes of spraying cleaner inside a vehicle. ✔️ A little pricey as a full case, but very useful and easy to keep on hand. ⭐️1 star — I don't endorse this at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars — I don't endorse it: has multiple faults, or significantly overpriced. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars — It's passable: it has some faults, some compromises, but the quality is acceptable for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars — Product quite acceptable, and it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars — Product that I totally endorse. Blown away. Drop everything and buy it!

If you are a windex fan, these are such a great car staple. It is the same streak-free, proper clean you get from a bottle of windex. We bought a box of the packs and keep one in each car. They’re especially a lifesaver on road trips with the bugs. I never trust those gas station cleaning buckets, so this is truly such a perfect product for me. And you don’t need anything other than a wipe! I do recommend having nitrile gloves in your car too as I’m not a fan of using cleaning products without gloves, but that is personal preference.

These packs of window cleaner wipes are perfect for keeping in the car for those little smudges on the glass from sticky little fingers, pet nose prints and the odd beverage spray. Especially on newer vehicles with large touchscreen displays. They don't take up much space and leave the glass clear and streak-free without scratching. They're easy to use and you get a ton. No complaints.

These are good wipes but to be effective, you have to have semi clean windows or you will end up using a lot of them to clean. Better to use baby wipes to wipe of excess dirt and then use these as the price is expensive for what you get. the description of the wipes is accurate but again you have to use a lot to make the window or glass, streak-free. The appearance is that they come in small pouch that is resealable and the plastic covering is water proof. They do not leak since they are not soaked in the cleaning solution.

We only use Windex to clean our glass, so it was a no-brainer to try their automobile wipes. It’s so convenient to be able to clean windows inside your car, without wielding the spray bottle, and breathing in the ammonia fumes in a confined space. These Windex wipes come in the case of 12 packages. Each package has 25 wipes, for a total of 300 wipes. The package has a resealable flap to let you reach in and remove one wipe at a time. This keeps the moisture locked inside. The wipes are about 7” x 9” which I think is a perfect size for use with one hand. The wipes held just the right amount of liquid to wipe a significant area. They cleaned spots of tree sap with only a swipe, and the mineral water spots required a little extra – but still cleaned well. By the time the wipe got too dry, it was dirty enough to need replacing anyway. It worked much better than paper towels, which tend to shred during use. The wipe occasionally rolled in my hand, but by then it was dirty & dry, so I just threw it away. Even though these wipes aren’t sold as ‘ammonia-free’ wipes, the package states: “Made without ammonia, bleach, or dye.” They worked just as well as bottled Windex with ammonia, but they had a fresh clean smell. I appreciated that lighter scent when I was inside the car! It wouldn’t matter to me while working on the outside. The cleaner might have dried streak-free, but I used a dry paper towel – wiping in a different direction – just to hurry up the process. My windows & mirrors were perfectly clean. I wouldn’t change a thing about these automotive wipes, and I enjoyed using them. I looked at other auto glass wipes to see if the current price of $68 is reasonable. There aren’t a lot of similar products, and they come in different quantities, but to get 300 total wipes, all of them cost about the same. You don’t even get a discount from the single pack price of the same wipes ($5.50) to buy a case of 12 packs. It’s just convenient to have extras on hand this by purchasing in bulk; I’m happy to use them!

I used to keep a bottle of Windex in the car and a roll of paper towels. However, the bottle is bulky and putting it in a smaller spray bottle I worry about leaks. The wipes fit easily in the glove box and this eliminates the risk of leaks. It also provides the same Windex performance for wiping kids' fingerprints off the inside of the windows, cleaning bird poop off them, etc... So now we keep a couple packs of these in each car.

Set name: Ammonia Free (12 Pack)
I love these “SC Johnson Professional Windex Ammonia Free Wipes 25ct, Case Pack of 12 (Ammonia Free (12 Pack))”. I have a large glass dining table, and I have glass side tables and coffee table; I used to always have a bottle of Windex and a few microfiber towels lying around to keep those tables clean (after each meal, after each use). I need to keep washing and drying those microfiber towels, or I use or follow up with paper towels; and some of them leave visible lint and streak etc.. on the table. Now, I exclusively use these Windex Wipes. Typically 1 sheet is more than enough to do a perfect job, and even the biggest/messiest job, off my 8 tops dining table, 2 sheets are good. And the result is amazing, and I just dump the sheet. The sheets are pretty strong too, and they pick up dirt and debris effectively too. Sometimes for the worst job, I do run through the glass with a regular microfiber tower first, and then finish the table with just 1 sheet of these Windex wipes. I also like these “Ammonia free” version very much, especially when I am using them on my dinner table. Price-wise, $60 for 12 pack of 25, $5 a pack of 25 sheets, coming out to be 20c per sheet. Not the cheapest, but for me, for the convenience and the performance, I am ok with it. Afterall, I no longer need to buy Windex liquid, won’t waste my linty paper towel, and won’t need to wash & dry my microfiber cloths. Even though the title said “Professional”, this is by no means a professional grade of the standard “Windex” product nor it is from a different “professional” division of “SC Johnson”; the correct way to read the title is “SC Johnson” the brand, “Professional” probably only referring to the bulk packaging, that only professionals will buy this in bulk, and “Windex” is the typical consumer grade Windex glass cleaner. Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.
